This is a game that takes in the incredibly versatile creature creator system from the PC original and places it inside an adventure title. Sounds straightforward enough, but Spore Hero is not like other 'create your hero' games. The creature creator, as anyone who has played its PC predecessor will know, allows you to create some of the oddest avatars around. The possibilities, while not literally endless, are pretty mind-boggling. So how do you take such a broad range of possibilities and place all that within the framework of a compelling adventure genre?

Game Observer: Since I don’t have a computer with the capability to run the original Spore game, I’ve been waiting with bated breath for the promised Wii version ever since the rumors first began.

The fact that it pitches the difficulty level appropriately ensures that newcomers won't be frustrated as to what to do next thanks to simple quests and a simple control system that always guides the player rather than confuses. It's just a shame that yet another title in the Spore franchise hasn't quite reached its potential.
