VidZone wants your pics!

According to a recent Twitter entry, the VidZone devs are asking users to send them their pictures of people using the service:

"Probably too much to ask but would be great to get some pics of you all enjoying the service to use in some editorial stuff. Anyone?"

It's essentially YouTube, but straight from the PS3, with [depending on connection] much better quality and literally no buffering.

It has thousands of videos, from a wide mix of artists, there's some real oldies, and there is lots of newer stuff too.

It's actually pretty neat, and a very nice addition to the PS3.

Unfortunately, it's only out in a few select countries in the EU, at the moment. Mainly down to advertising deals, or so we've been told.

Still, since it's free, and a very nice little app, you can't go wrong.

What a joke! I'm not surprised though since Sony is involved...

Is a fully licenced Music video service.

UNLIKE YouTube which has lots of pirated music videos on there, this service has Sony Musics artists along with a wide range of others artists music videos, this service allows you to stream them for free and make playlists, many videos will be added every week.

Just another free service to pile on top of the PSN, thanks Sony =]

what the hell is this twitter trash anyway!? O_o

Perhaps I might just sign up for the rubbish service:/

But why do they want us to send a pic of us banging out the service???

Can't they detect how much people are using it by downloaded service o trash PSN Store for UK!??/

Menchi6197d ago

They want the picture for most likely editorial, and advertisement purposes.

While they certainly will have numbers downloaded for the service, it's nice to see people actually making use of the thing.

does this sh* even work!?
I clicked on the VidZone official twitter, and they didn't even mention this:/
