"Continuing the current trend in moody hoodie chic, Prototype's lead character, Alex Mercer, is a cipher. Waking up on a mortuary slab with superhuman powers and no memory of how he got there, it's up to you to wrestle control of this hyperactive hybrid and bound around New York trying to work out the particulars of his past.
Getting revenge on the people who turned you into a freaky mutant and battling the growing infection that is gripping the city is your secondary objective. Controlling Alex is a lot of fun. Holding down the right trigger allows you to sprint around, automatically running up the sides of buildings and leaping over obstacles."
Verdict
Prototype isn't quite the complete product
Uppers
* Free-running works well
* Accessible combat
* More twists than a Curly Wurly
Downers
* City feels unreal
* Sometimes a little too chaotic

From Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Batman: Arkham City to breakout hit Dispatch and new Marvel Cosmic Invasion, these are 10 of the best superhero games you can play today.

Not all video game protagonists are sweet, jolly, or wholesome. Folks like Agent 47 are cold, ruthless, and reserved and it shows.
Ah, fond memories of strangling all the people in their hotel rooms in Hitman 1
Lara Croft, Nathan Drake etc, cos they pretend to be the good guys but are mass murderers that show no remorse.

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Agree with score. I would give it 7.5 MAX. Its good but it gets really repeititive.
Proof I have game is attached. Like always I only talk after I played the game. I cannot show you in game screen shot with N4G Window Open for sthe simple reason Prototype does not Support Window Mode on PC (WTF!! I love playing my games in WINDOW Mode!)
I agree with the review too.. and i keep repeating that phrase from IGN's review.. it all sounded good on paper.. but when you play it you realise it isn't all that great.
Seems like the average for this game is around the 7/10.
"infamous killer" my ass.
Ninja Blade killer however: confirmed.
i liked the game. It didnt have a great story, it was chaotic and frustrating at time, but i still enjoyed myself.
