Don't care for "never heard of you before" sites..or overatted sites that think they are the say all, end all to games when they are gamers, just as I..

Stay away from this one if you don't like to enjoy a fun game, is what I got.

All I see on this site is, "Back to infamous" after every comment. You know when your having a pissin war with a game, just because it's multi, which also appears on your same console, it's kinda stupid and the new low, when you can enjoy and don't have to deny yourself either.

i downloaded from warez. its not even worth the bandwith :/

1st 10 min rocks, then it gets repeitive and bland.

Also, lol at people who said its more graphical then infamous. buildings have NO detail at all. they are just painted boxes

PS3 owners can enjoy both

aside from the occasional jab at PS3 owners I always found X Play reviews to be clear and concise; and i usually agree with the verdict, with a couple of exceptions, (i.e a 4 out of 5 for Uncharted). Any ways, Prototype looks to be a gud addition to the sandbox genre and i will be checking this one out as soon as i finish getting my Platinum trophy for InFamous.

I picked up this game today and first I was like...MAN this game sucks! But after a while I started having a BLAST!!! I'm loving it. I also have inFamous which is a superb game that's in a class of its own. But still in all it is definitely worth it to have this one in the collection.

Prototype kinda reminds me of GTA san andreas. Mindless fun. I'll probably be picking this one up. Looks awesome.

hands down overall story, gameplay, and graphics beats prototype. Not that I'm hating because I can own them BOTH! 2009 is like fine wine for the PS3!

I think both inFamous and Prototype are rentals. I'm not paying 60 bucks for a 12 hour game. If either of them are even that long.

Prototype is just more brutal, has more gore, and at least the hero just really feels like having superhero powers.

In inFamous not so much. Actually bit boring powers.

In Prototype that action is much more interesting. But then again, the games are different so comparing them 1 on 1 is difficult.

Why does SaberEdge always defend Prototype?? I mean come on you act like it was your ever so precious child! Seriously it's not that good looking like you "ALWAYS SAY" if your so sure the graphics are good post some screenshots and show them! I mean I see nothing that resembles them both! (Which means Prototype looks like a long piece of turd, which apparently seems to reek so much that it actually hypnotizes people like you to defend it!)

Actually it doesnt but it is not worth buying. RENT IT, you were warned. It doesnt have enough substance to warrant a full purchase. You do the same mission types and it is not the prettiest game but its not ugly either. You can kill alot of people but it only goes so far. Think GTA without the missions just one big deathmatch against bot. most of which cant fight you back.

but proto is just more fun to me people are crazy im not buying both when they are some what similar stop bashing proto its fun thats what matters anyway

Infamous and red faction are great games. Cannot wait to try Prototype tomorrow. Hopefully will be as good.

one of the only reviewers I trust. He never seems to be biased. Still no matter what, a review is still opinion. You have to take each one and see if it adheres to what you consider to be a good game and I typically agree with Sessler when he says a game is good. (Must have the same taste in games or something)
