either way
only 2 trophies seem to be time consuming
Au: Achieve a rating of Gold or better in all Events.
and landmark trophy.

Still undecided to get this game.
Dont want a bad after taste of sandbox games.. infamous was mindblowing.

where the hell are all the prototype reviews!? it comes out tomorrow.

on a side note: @1.1 i think i played against u in KZ2. many ppl in that game suck, and i only say that cuz im ok and yet i seriously come in 1st place like 8 out of 10 games. Anyway ur name looks familiar only cuz u was doin good on the other team. Was that you?

Probably was.
Been playing Killzone 2 since beta. so im pretty decent at it.
Now im more into uncharted 2 beta.
Killzone 2 has lost its place 4 awhile ^^

I agree, infamous is mindblowing. I'm on my 5th run ^^ a well earned plat too :D
But i think i wont shoot down prototype till we get some reviews rolling in.

Well the truth is any game this close to release with no real reviews out is usually a bad sign. I agree with the infamous statement personally but who knows...

And look forward to seeing how it lives up to the genre. After playing inFAMOUS, this has some big shoes to fill if I am going to even bother completing it.

yea the lack of a demo or pre release revues makes me a little apprehensive to buy this one and i can see myself criticizing it because its not infamous although there is 1 review from ign on gamerankings that gave it a 9 out of 10 but ill still wait and see some more reviews

Yeah, that's never a good sign. Regardless, I'll still be renting it like I do with most games before I buy. It looks like it could be pretty damn fun.

Got it on Friday (these are the benefits writing for a publication in my country).
The game is mediocre at best. I logged in more than 10 hours and has horrible graphics, repetitive missions and the narrative is awful. Sometimes it can be fun but the overall combat mechanics and gameplay are not good. Also the button mapping is one of the worst I've ever seen. PM me if you want more details.

I find it weird still no reviews while ghostbuster has alrdy been reviewed its like they are holding them off till the game releases not a good sign saw some1 do a play through didnt look very spectacular.

I heard this game is no big deal.
I'm glad I never put my eyes on it. It always looked to me like the latest Hulk game, with a different setting.
I guess they're using the same engine and all?

I got the game 3 days ago, played it few hours and Bam.. there is it ! bad graphics, repetitive missions, boring story .. . not worth, and it's clear why Activi$ion didn't let sites review it before the release so it will not somehow harm the sales .

inFAMOUS is the best, and I'm now laughing of people who have tried to compare inFAMOUS with Prototype .

No offense here, but this is why I love Sony's exclusives, Top Unique games .

The first ten minutes are AMAZING! Then you lose all your powers and have to start playing the actual game. I'd suggest renting it though; especially for those first ten minutes.

it's not viable for them to do so at this stage though. If the ps3 was outnumbering 360 worldwide then perhaps but as it stands developers won't put extra content in 1 version and not the other unless they are gonna get a big return (especially with the economic climate bla bla bla :p)

Gotta finish inFamous (as inFamous, already done Hero) before friday. I've even got the day off lol but i just wanna see some reviews. ppl say u have to make up ur own mind up about a game, which is true, but i really need to see some reviews so get a better idea before i spend £40. Gameplay video's are all well and good, but are coming from the developers. They don't show if the game has loads of bugs in it for example, if it gets repetative and so on

It's the Hulk games with a twist. Which isn't a bad thing. And please don't complain about repetitive gameplay, most sandbox games are repetitive.

inFAMOUS isnt repetative? hell the demo was repetative. bought the game (loved it) after a week i did the same thing i did with GTA threw it in a box and moved onto something else. every mission is the same, save this water tower, OMG save this bus, OMG! save these ppl, OMG!! save the water tower again!!! but in all honesty inFAMOUS is hella fun. every game that has ever existed is repetative. some more than others but every game is like that. to say a game isnt repetative is saying ur life isnt repetative. in my case, wake up go to work go to lunch go back to work go home play games look at porn and retarded stuff on the net go to sleep rinse and repeat. lol. see even life is lame sometimes

Infamous do have a few repetitive mission i list a few

Sub station Mission
surveillance camera mission
Armor Bus Mission

no im not trashing da game i luv infamous

sucker punch did a great job blending repetitive missions with the story like sub station Mission u beat it u unlock another ability

Repetitive means the whole game is the same thing over and over again. Those missions yes the same thing like 2-3 times are side missions, and add to the element of the story. Its not like Assassin's Creed where after your first kill, its just rinse and repeat...

yet again my kind sir u r wrong. if u havent noticed inFAMOUS is the same thing and over again. shoot some bad ass electric stuff and bad ppl rinse and repeat. FPS shoot the bad guy, RPG save the world etc..

Then every game is repetitive, you don't understand the context that we are using the word. In our way it means that the missions are exactly the same, which they aren't. Assassin's Creed was. Eavesdrop, blah, blah, blah, assassinate. Then do it again for the next target. Infamous isn't even close to this. Every mission is setup different, there are some repeats but its not horrendous 3-4 times, you can get away with it.

save this or destroy this. still inFAMOUS. its a water tower one mission the next its a train the next its a bus. repetitive is fun regardless
