Gamespot had the chance to try their hand with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of Activision's upcoming Spider-Man 3. The Treyarch-developed title is based on the upcoming movie, which promises big things for fans of the wallcrawler.
They had the chance to try out a sampling of levels from work-in-progress versions running on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to see how this works in action.
So how does Activision and Treyarch's movie-based game swing on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?

From the Amazing Spider-Man series to the most recent titles and DLCs, explore which Spider-Man game deserves to be ranked first and why.
Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Ultimate Spider-Man use to be my favorite until Insomniac games took over.
My favorite and still champion Spiderman PS2, followed by Marvels Spiderman2, then Miles Morales, followed by Marvels Spiderman, and finally Ultimate Spiderman.
I need to drag out my PS3 and try Web of Shadows, owned the game for years and years and never played.
Spider-Man (2000), Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro, and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions were all so good! I have fond memories playing them.

Phil writes, "It's never a good feeling to be hyped for the next installment of one of your favorite franchises, and then POW! You're blindsided with an extremely disappointing game that hardly lives up to your anticipation and hype. That's the focus of The Most Disappointing Video Game Sequels, and now we're at the fifth installment. This are six more of those games that were either rushed out, released in a broken or incomplete state, or were simply less than stellar experiences overall.
After you browse through and read up on the latest unfortunate games added to this growing series of articles, which game sequels that haven't already been mentioned in a previous article do you think should be added in a future installment?"
DSOGaming writes: "YouTube’s ‘reznoire’ and ‘Emulators for PC’ have shared some new videos from the latest version of the Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3, showing Heavy Rain, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and Spiderman 3 running in it."
Poor Heavy Rain lol that game was and is a pile. Emulation sounds cool though - Res. Evil 3 and Directors Cut all the way.
So games run at 10 fps and graphical glitches not seen since pcsx2 in 2003,.. I will get there someday.
The word "nitpicky" tells me a lot about gamespot.
I know, I know. I sound like a fanboy (puke), but could it be anymore obvious by how they grudgingly admit the PS3 is slightly better?
AOTS had a hands on segment on their show and we got to see scorpion! he looks more metalish like dr. ock did.
This game is gonna rock, i think im gonna get the ps3 collectors edition though.
