E3 2009: Capy talks Critter Crunch

Last month Canadian based indie studio Capybara Games first introduced us to technicolour barf in the debut trailer for their upcoming PSN arcade-puzzler Critter Crunch.

Watch this interview with Co-Founder and President of Capy, Nathan Vella, that Chris Morell recently posted on SCEA's PlayStation Blog to find out more about the game. Vella discusses to the food chain mechanic in Critter Crunch as well as competitive and co-op multiplayer modes. He also discusses some interesting trophies in the game including one for barfing and one called 'Feats of Constipation.'

Critter Crunch Review (Gamezebo)

Capybara Games hit it big with 2011’s Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP. It was – and continues to be – praised as one of the greatest games in the smartphone market, courtesy of its surreal storyline and clever adaptation of classic adventure gaming. But well before Capybara introduced us to the antics of Logfella, they invited us into the deceptively cute world of Critter Crunch for iOS. It’s been removed from the App Store for reasons unknown, but worry not: it’s now available on Steam.

I got this on PS3 when it came out. It's a great puzzle game and looks phenomenal. Very Studio Ghibli. I love it.
