but when is that radio thing ehmm i forgot what it was called when is that gonna be available?
its one of the few things that caught my eye
i take it you can listen to international music on that thing right?

personally i don't like facebook at all its turning into just another myspace

I think this is a great new feature, I am not an xbox owner myself but this is certainly what I personally look for in a gaming console.

Also I understand that Sony are also meant to be making a deal with Facebook to bring throhpies or sometihng, I remember reading it afew months back, its a possibility for tomorrows show.

I call BS on that full 1080p 5.1 sound. "Instant"? BS, I'm sorry, how much bandwidth does that take? I'm running a 1.5mbps line in my house, I could barely stream the MS conferance, how am I supposed to do that video? Yeah, its available in lots of countries, but lots of countries don't have bandwidth. Idk, it just doesn't seem right.

But I seriously doubt they are going to stream full audio at 7.1, I'd be surprised even 5.1 sound. As for the 1080p maybe like they do with dvds on the 360 it will come in at 480p and the 360 will upconvert it. We'll see I guess. Like the guy above me said a lot of people have bandwidth limits or slow bandwidth. If everyone starts streaming movies over the 360(pay every time to stream a movie) instead of buying the disc(one time fee to have forever)internet providers will start imposing limits for the high traffic and all those download junkies are going to get screwed. Not sure how this is a win. I pay for a movie once and watch it as many times as I like without a recurring fee. As for downloading movies, hdd crash no matter how good you take care of it, discs don't just stop working one day for no reason. For the ones who just want to watch something once try REDBOX if it's in your area it's a dvd vending rental machine $1/day movie rental for all new release movies. I watch maybe 5 or 6 new releases a months if that and $6 is still cheaper than any other rental or streaming service for just 6 dvds a month.

it takes an 8 mbps downstream..the fastest in my area is 8...which costs a good 70 dollars a month, something my family cannot afford.

...looks fantastic. If priced right and accompanied with some killer apps then I can see it doing well. However, if its accompanied by the same standard of software as that available for Playstation Eye (PSE) on the PS3 then it will fail. I mean, I have owned the PSE since day one and as yet there is nothing worth buying it for.

Some digital junk you can download off PSN and the slightly better than average Eye of Judgement is all you get after 2 years.

OK this new camera thing is so unresponsive but anyways I would just like to clear things up, the 360 does UPSCALED 1080p not NATIVE 1080p and the chances of the 360 doing 7.1 are very veeeeeery slim.

A console that has a 1.2 HDMI in/output can't do NATIVE or REAL 1080p because the difference between HDMI 1.2 and HDMI 1.3a is HUGE!! even though it looks or sounds small but that's mostly to people who haven't researched in to it.

NO they don't. HDMI 1.3a does native 1080p, HDMI 1.2 does native 720p but with an upscaler chip can be pushed to do 1080p but not TRUE 1080p, the proof is in the first ever HDTV's that were launched to the public, all the first HDTV's had HDMI in/output 1.2 because at the time 1080p didn't exist and the highest form of HD was 720p.

You need to do your research because it's the first time I've ever heard someone say all HDMI can do 1080p. By the way I'm not talking about HDMI cables here, I'm talking about HDMI ports built in to the consoles and TV's

You're looking like a fool, it's not the HDMI ports or versions that are limiting it's the consoles itself. The HDMI versions from the beginning were able to produce 1080p native and if the product didn't it's not the HDMI it was the hardware limits i.e. tv, video card, or XBOX360. There were hardware out with the original HDMI 1.0 running 1080p native. Please stop looking like an epic fail and referring to the limitation being the HDMI version it's a hardware limitation not with the HDMI but the product it was used on!
