Considering they are announcing the PSPgo you would expect them to take that long since it is new hardware

Well, Sony does need extra time for graphs, sales numbers, PSN figures and to pat themselves on the back, that 2 hours will fly by. :)

OH COME ON!!! They do it every single time!!! I get disagrees because I state what Sony does every time? Amazing, what is also amazing is that people think they are gonna blow the doors off and have 2 full hours of game announcements and gameplay footage, not only is that amazing, that's crazy!

Holy hell. That's awesome. I remember last year's were all about 90 mins. MS and Sony seemed much shorter, and Ninty seemed much much much longer...

it will give them more time to go on about their 10 year plan and how blu has secured the future of disc media and that gran tourismo will be another two years so they can tap the power of da cell I.E. it will get anti- aliasing

murder i thought that was what ms does and announcing multiplat games with dlc or acting like they are exclusive for 360 why dont they just call duffy to sing again for lips 2 now thats a megaton.

I cant WAIT for Kojima to show up and announce MG5 exclusively for ps3/psp and i HOPE and PRAY that sony and rockstar announce their exclusive deal they had goin on some time ago with i think 3 games wuz it??

has every genre of gaming (rpg,sports,racing etc.) pretty much exclusive to the system all they need is a dare I say new exclusive fighting franchise that fully utilizes the PS3. Now that Tekken 6 is multiplat.
As for E3 TRICO's announcement will be enough for me everything else is icing on the cake.
MAG, Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles, & hell watch out for that EyePet thingy...

is a really long time. I really hope they don't keep talking about sales figure and the Playstation brand itself. I mean come on, if you still don't know the Sony/Playstation brand or the Microsoft/360 brand, then you don't belong at E3 or deserve to be watching about the presentation at all. We don't need a constant reminder of their brand. We want game announcements, new gameplay video demonstration, surprises, more surprises, and well, even more surprises!

Last year Sony had a decent presentation. Please do not disappoint this year Sony!

sony will be using 120 minutes to cover 3 platforms, psp, ps2, ps3 which would be roughly 40 min each platform.

Microsoft will be using 95 minutes for 2 platforms, xbox 360, zune HD
which is roughly 47.5 min per platform

nintendo will be using 60 min to cover 2 platforms, wii, DS
which is 30 min per platform...

That would be the shiznit. Multiplatform powerhouses like Cod4 have 11 million gamers. Xbox 360 owners and PS3 owners can play against each other.

Sony should give a better presentation than last year. I must confess MS has always had much enthusiasm in their presentations, bringing in all the guests, having variety in lecturers, and overall energy. Last year, we mostly saw Jack (that's the name isn't it?) take the whole conference through the hour. Their content was pretty impressive but was presented with less energy into the whole presentation. When we saw GOW-3 trailer, they didn't really built up to the moment to get us excited, but perhaps this time, they would do a better job. 2 hrs, sounds awesome.

why do i feel there is still to much even for e3 i do see them holding out some stuff for tgs09 but there still should be some great stuff shown just like to day

The sad thing is I bet Sony will treat the Ps3 as a last priority and try to show off the PsPGo because quite frankly it has more potential to get Sony more business then the PS3.

Watch all the media outlets say how disappointing Sony's conference will be because they didn't have any 'surprises' of the show. The fact that they have so many exclusives coming out this year and early next year should at least be on par with MS's game announcements (which were largely known already).
