Um... What is the hype behind this game? I bought the first one used at Gamestop, had an okay time killing zombies for like 30 minutes then tried the story. The indian boss was retarded, the game pissed me off, so I scratched it and returned to Gamestop to get my money back. I dont see how the second iteration will change anything, you can only hit a Zombie with a wrench so many times before it gets old.

hope this game has online co-op. if it does then it already 1 of my most wanted game for 2010

i loved Dead Rising , more than left 4 dead o_O, Dead Rising was the only reason i bought an xbox back in the days now this comming for ps3, WOW! thx capcom!

Dead Rising 1 is a classic! Excellent game!

This so far has me disappointed. I really want a good sequel and Blue Castle don't seem capable. And their westernization of it and putting that super generic stereotypical ego filled character as the lead has me wondering...

Then you have the PS3 meat grinder brigade here bagging on the graphics and I say nice job Capcom on burning this potentially great franchise right into the ground.

The first game is still one of the best games this generation and I would take Dead Rising over just about any title on any system this gen.

Really miss this series . I bought a Xbox 360 only for dead rising . It was my dawn of the dead dream played out . 2 was quite good , as was 3. But 4 was just a disaster !. It could of been so good . I say reboot it again , cause I do miss the series .

It was never particularly good. People just remember the first one so fondly because the 360 was new at the time and there were so few games for it then.

Dr1 is one of my favorite games.

Dead Rising 1, 2 and Off the record was very good. Even 3 was decent. 4 I also enjoyed but it was changed up a bit to much. Plus I hated they got rid of the drop in drop out co op. That's what made Dead Rising 2 so fun as well as Dead Rising 3.

Everyone complains when developers just make cookie cutter sequels so Capcom shook things up with Dead Rising 4. Fans shit the bed when it wasn't a cookie cutter sequel and it didn't sell well. I personally loved the game and its open sandbox nature. I saw it as different and fell in love with what made it special. I've been a fan since day one and have always loved each game for what it was, but this is definitely a case where the fanbase was indeed toxic... Anyway fast forward to the present and Capcom isn't sure if the franchise has a future anymore.

Same thing to every xbox 3rd party game this generation they don't matter they choose the wrong partner with a very low count of user base instead of choosing Playstation. Plus those fanbase who are looking for silly kiddy gameplay jump into the more fun better and free to play games like fornite etc games.
