Alexian Nox writes, "This is a belated entry, as the Play4Free version of BattleForge was released on May 27th and I originally had no intention of covering the title. I downloaded it for free and expected to be deleting it within 24 hours of playing. In fact, based on the impression the game's homepage gave, I didn't get around to trying it until tonight. I had no idea what I was missing."
Theshigen writes "Battleforge was a rather novel idea. It combined collectable card game mechanics with real-time strategy, something new and fresh back in 2009. It's been re-released today as Skylords Reborn. A fan-made project that's made the gamer, completely free."
