IGN writes: "One of the most interesting WiiWare games on the horizon is Super Meat Boy, a bloody platformer starring a chunk of raw meat that leaves puddles of gore everywhere he goes. It's not the sort of thing we normally see on WiiWare, but Nintendo is getting behind it and has been advertising the game on the Nintendo Channel. We recently had a meat and greet with developers Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes to chat about blood and boobs".

Microsoft is a little slow this month when it comes to announcing the Games with Gold lineup for June 2022. This has led to the lineup leaking ahead of the announcement.
This is just plain sad, they are basically charging you for online and that's it, I guess this goes hand in hand with the "tell me you only play AAA games without telling me you only play AAA games"
Both Gamepass and Gold games offerings have gone way downhill.
Super Meat Boy was a Games with Gold title back in 2016..It's leftover Meat from 2016
I actually really enjoyed Aven Colony when it was on Gamepass. I got it for free from Epic Store a few months back.

The last decade wasn't the Golden Age of platformers, that's for sure, but there were still many great games. Check out Wccftech's shortlist!
They put Celeste in the honorable mentions. Such a shame, this game is premium in platforming. Rayman is also def a 10/10 platformer.
