It also runs at 60 meaning in theory at least, potential for even more in the way of geometry and detail were this a 30 frame game

The point being that all this talk of far better graphics on what to my mind is obviously a slightly technically superior machine the PS3(polygon pushing at least), is somewhat dumb when all i can see here is so perfectly lush anyway

From now on it just comes down to what machine has the more appealing games and how much of a bigger library exists for a platform

Not much to go by so far, and we're still around six months from release...but we do know that at least part of the game is in Brazil.

COD4 a huge disappointment lmao....uncharted is repetitive, Killnone 2 controls are gay and MGS4 is a movie not a game.

Looks like IW has reached its limit in terms of graphics
and they got a lot of work to do on the gameplay of MW2 to make it worth it and really look like a sequel

Farcry 2 outdid COD4/5 and even COD6 is no match. Hopefully the gameplay will be better than FC2 as was of COD4.

They still got 6 months to touch up. I'm ok with a company reusing their engine if the art direction compliments it like Lost Planet 2. However that was just awful for IW to reuse their old 2007 engine from what it seems. At least make the appropriate upgrades so that I feel like I'm playing a sequel and not an expansion pack. Either that, or truly compliment the engine with a whole new perspective of environment.

If MW2 was primarily based in Snow and ice levels and they used the old engine, then I'd be fine with that because it's a new perspective. I like how Treyarch used the CoD4 engine to make WaW and that was still an impressive looking game on its own. However if MW2 does the same setting and places like CoD4, then I better see some engine upgrades then so that I don't feel like I'm playing an old game, packaged in new shrink wrap and charged full price for it.

be honest now, the games gonna rock and i cant wait for it. If its not a ps3 exclusive on this site its never gonna get the vote from the many stupid ps3 fanboys on this site. MAG hehe dont make me laugh, this will blow every shooter out of the water and the mp if half as popular as the COD4 will keep us playing for years.

First of all.. COD4 wasn't really known for it's graphics in the first place.
The gameplay, story, and multiplayer is why I liked COD4 so much, not the graphics.
Besides, the game is still far from complete.. But, I, for one, cannot wait for this!

Dude these pics are form a PS3 website, maybe they are Xbox-360 shots I don't know, again I say this game looks fantastic, maybe I see things different to some of you guys but I have complete faith that this game will be fantastic and the visuals top notch.

They dont buy their exclusives, and they criticize every single multiplatform game. Sony fanboys dont deserve to be called gamers...

Looks Like COD 4 has hit a wall as far as the Graphics Department.

When you make a game the first thing you do is think about how much space you have to work with. Since DVD is the lowest common denominator when it comes to multiplatform games Devs will need to figure how to squeeze all the data onto one DVD. Add in the fact that the 360 has no standard hard drive games will need to be thumbed down.

If MS had decided to included a standard Hard Drive then Devs would have been able to Utilize it for games. The 360 might still be able to match up against the PS3 Graphically.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
