Well...to many rumours now....damn...getting me hyped..

sigh... But if this is true, ill buy it quick.

Forrest Gump6206d ago

I think if it's true it'll retail for $199.99,don't know if I want to spend $199.99 for XboxLiveArcade gaming.

KingKionic 6206d ago

What if it could play xbox 1 games? I would buy it,only if its not just arcade games.

ZuperAmazingCooKie6206d ago (Edited 6206d ago )

I don't know if I would want to spend $199 on a "LIVE" grenade ;)

Edit:

The funny thing is that this device is going to be a lot more powerful than the Wii, and yet it's a lot smaller.

It has a lot of pros and it looks capable of reproducing Xbox Originals. However, it only has a single analogue stick as a freaking add-on, it seems that Microsoft didn't take the lessons and didn't hear gamers cry for a 2nd analogue stick with the PSP. It also sounds like it's gonna be very expensive, I mean 32GB flash memory? 128 MB of RAM? That thing can even outdo the iPhone, a lot of potential right there.

But as I said above, let's hope this thing isn't a freaking RROD grenade.

IdleLeeSiuLung6206d ago

I hope it is real and looking forward to this one. Hopefully I can play my already purchased Xbox Live games on it. Don't make me re-buy games!

Eiffel6206d ago

Dang if it can play Xbox 1 games I may just sell my psp for the extra cash to buy this.

socomnick6206d ago

I saw a pic with a list of specs. One of the specs said Onlive compatible. That made me extremely happy, imagine crysis on a handheld :)

likedamaster6206d ago

Well, the PSP was $250 when it first came out and it surely wasn't packing a dual core processor let alone 128mb of video memory. This would be an auto-buy for me, thank you.

whoelse6206d ago

It seemed legit until I read the OnLive streaming.

I don't think so...

E3 is comming :)

Forrest Gump6206d ago

Looks like a PSP ripoff,D- for effort.

Ldubbz6206d ago (Edited 6206d ago )

It looks more like a Lynx, which the PSP also looks similar too. These youngsters...LOL

EDIT:

@ below

No doubt, the basic design no matter what you do is gonna be similar to whats been done before.

Polluted6206d ago

Well there are only so many ways these things can look. You've got a screen, some buttons and...well that's it. They could have made it flip style like the Advance SP or DS, but then they'd be accused of copying those handhelds.

ElementX6206d ago (Edited 6206d ago )

"Stupid is as stupid does"

LOL, looks like you're pretty stupid

If it looks so much like a PSP, where's the left thumb stick?

As stated above, there's only so many design choices available for a portable console. If it's going to be widescreen like PSP, then the controls should be on either side of the screen. If you placed the controls below the screen, it would add unnecessary width to the console and it wouldn't even fit into a pocket.

pwnsause6206d ago (Edited 6206d ago )

to stream games from your 360, aka, like remote play for the PS3, at least thats what it sounds like.

IdleLeeSiuLung6206d ago

It is a streaming video game service. Here is a little help (first link): http://lmgtfy.com/?q=onlive

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
