I might think this was real if the PS3 slim didn't look so cheap and dull. The original is all shiny and stuff, then look at the dull black/grey of the slim, not very appealing.

hmmm i personally think this is fake for the simple reason that a slimmer PS3 will not just be a simple shrink down job with the same exterior design. When SONY slim down their consoles, they tend to differ in exterior design from their original models.

Also there would be no visual appear to just giving consumers a smaller version of what we already have. They usually come up with a design/concept that catches the eye. This difference in design is what makes us Consumers recognize the difference between an original and a Re-model.

this new pic on the left is really a playstation 3 standing next to a cheap knock off from china called the funstation 3 . i recongnize this thing anywere by the two dips in the front of the console . they are where the wired controllers for the funstation 3 get connected . more proof i found a video and news article the links will be posted below.

that pic is fake also, the parts are real but what the person did was join the already existing leaked PS3 Slim pictures together and then PhotoShopped it, but the fake is 90% accurate, take a good look at the original shots and you'll see that I'm right.

The picture with the 2 USB Ports was turned 180 degrees to the left and then it was joined to the top face plate with the PS3 logo and disc slot

This is NOT PS3 slim, earlyer leaked photos are real. We will get new PS3 slim, and i hope for $299. However, mine 40 gb works fine.

There's no way they could make a ps3 that small. They need fans to cool down the cell and rsx.

The only way they could do it is, if they take out the built in power pack, it would have a power brick like 360, and replace the fans with heatsinks. That wouldn't work though, you need FAR more than a heatsink to cool off the CELL and RSX, Yellow light of death would increase to 1000%.

Xbox 1 was HUGE, PS3 is BIGGER XBox 720 and PS4 willbe larger still. It won't be long before we're all just standing consoles the sizes of PC towers next to our TV's...
