IGN: Pre-E3 2009: Madden NFL 10 Hands-on

IGN writes:

"Playing Madden NFL 10 with the new Pro-Tak system in place makes you realize just how large a gap there was from every other game in the series to real football. But that's not the only reason why this year's Madden is looking like one of the best to date. I got the chance to spend some time with Madden 10 and came away very pleased with the new, re-focused development strategy employed with this year's game.

So why is Pro-Tak so game-changing? Well, think of it this way: football is 50% running the ball and 50% throwing the ball (give or take depending on your choice of team). How many times in an NFL game do you see a running back's legs churning for yards, only to be stopped by a gang of tacklers? If a back doesn't make it into the defensive backfield then chances are it's going to be a hell of a lot more than one or two guys bringing him down. That's where Pro-Tak comes into play. It allows for up to nine guys to get in on the tackle and affect the movement of the pile."

But truthfully you run out of bounds through walls and hopefully you dont get disconnected by some tard who decides the stand by button on his modem makes him a tough guy. Morons. I hate MADDEN GRRRRRRRrrrrr..

I wonder how people will exploit it this year?

Oh they better not have any frame rate issues this year in any version. 60fps should be standard tard lickers.

Borrowed games, a coffee cup, and the true meaning of Christmas

What do a coffee cup and borrowed video games have to do with the real meaning of Christmas? Lots, apparently.

THR1LLHOUSE5259d ago

Aw, a very nice little story.

NagaSotuva5259d ago

I was in love with the story until Madden came up.

Unlike at Christmas time, leaving a coffee stain on the case of a borowwed game causes large amounts of abuse from my friends.

Careful where you put your coffee!

But that was a very nice story, it seems you have made Jake a very happy boy :)
