Super Smash Bros Melee is one of those games that has failed to die on the Gamecube, even now when the cube is quite literally on its final legs people still hook up the old console just to have a couple more battles with their mates. The game itself was awesome, once you started playing it you could never stop. You could choose from countless characters including Mario, Pikachu, Samus, Donkey Kong, Captain Falcon and many more. Then, you would find yourself up against three other characters fighting for dear life; Melee truly was pure gaming joy. The problem is that we hadn't seen a glint of a Super Smash Bros. sequel, well that was until E3 2006. What has to be one of the best multiplayer games ever created is finally getting a sequel. We now bring you Club Skill's first look at the latest Super Smash Brothers.

The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.
Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.
My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.
Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.
Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.

Dash Rendar, Prince Xizor, the Battle of Hoth, and one of the boldest Star Wars multimedia projects ever made. Here’s why Shadows of the Empire still matters.
This game along with Rogue Squadron got me into to Star Wars. The release of special edition VHS Star Wars collection was perfectly times on top of all that. 😆
But it wasn't. Although I do agree that some of the tie-in media, like the novels and comics, were pretty good.
Still, games like Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Rogue Squadron, and the space sims were peak 90s Star Wars. Shadows fell flat because of the abysmal controls and unimaginative levels. And if you wanted to really experience the seedy side of the universe, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 was peak, and it wasn't even close.
Regardless, and much to my dismay, we got the better version thanks to Ubislop in Outlaws, which is what Shadows should've been, albeit at a smaller scale.

Debuting in Season 9, all players can try a beta of The Crew Motorfest’s new ambitious track creator, TrackForge.
I never had a GameCube, but I always played at a friend's... I think I'm going to have to own a Wii just for this game... maybe they'll have online play?
There are certain games that do convince people on buying systems. Games like FF or Resident Evil could do that. But for the Wii. I feel this game will be the one to convince me on that system. With other people it could be the Zelda game. But just like the other Nintendo systems if the Wii can't keep the games flowing people are going to loose interest quickly. Especially now that the Resident Evil series isn't exclusive anymore to Nintendo.
What! soo cool, solid snake in ssb! i might get a wii just for that.
I already own a xbox 360. But if I'm going to buy Wii this will definitly be one of the games I pick up. I'll do it of one single reason: KIRBY. Love you little funny dude :D
I have no conection with these critters anymore, i see some of the charector's and childhood memories come flooding in; then after a few breif seconds then I remember it's an really old and silly notion of playing this kind of crap over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
