If Sony have x number of current PS3s sitting on shelves and are bringing out a new design, they're not going to reveal the new design until most of the old stock clears or else people will stop buying them.

however, there is no shape redesign yet .. .. there is a newer model that runs cooler with a 45nm chip but the design is more or less the same other than a cooler chip, quieter heat sink and lighter weight.. but the overall dimensions won't change..

Is it a new service from Sony?

Is it new hardware coming out?

Is it details on an upcoming patch?

For some reason, Shadow of the Colossus 2 doesn't seem right, it's an awesome announcement if true, but it was kinda a niche game. Doesn't seem like enough to crash his site. I think there's more...
