Firstly, while we have to stress that nothing has been officially confirmed by Microsoft, the rumours that the new Xbox 360 3D motion-cam is to be unveiled at gaming expo E3 have been fuelled this week by reports in the Wall Street Journal.
So what exactly is this so-called 'Wii killer' motion-sensing technology that 3DV has recently sold to Microsoft? And how does it work?

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

The name "Hewson" carries a special weight for anyone who grew up during the golden age of British computing. As the son of Andrew Hewson—the man behind legendary publisher Hewson Consultants—Rob Hewson didn't just grow up playing video games; he learned to spell his name from their title screens. However, Rob didn't just rest on his family's 8-bit laurels. From leading major LEGO franchises at TT Games to tackling the high-stakes world of technical porting at Huey Games, Rob has carved out a unique path in an ever-evolving industry. In this candid interview Rob to discussed the burden and beauty of a family legacy, the technical "scar tissue" left by the ambitious Hydrophobia, and why porting a masterpiece like Inscryption to consoles is far more than a simple copy-paste job.
But they have to have some proper software support to take this off the ground. Sony has been announcing some interesting things with their Eye Cam too.. let's see who can deliver this E3.
Also adding a new peripheral for a new game play element is not going to suit well with people who have already bought a Xcam etc..
Did they actually make any games for it? Other than the rubbish ones at launch?
lighting is a serious issue with this tech along side players position, people that stand left or right of the cameras position will end up permantly frustrated.sony,s eye pet idea is set close to the tv within a smaller frame so it should work properly.outside that its a guessing game, remember them psn early trials of topaz etc,not great to say the least.can,t remember the game sony had with the stand and cards that worked well from what i,ve seen of it at my mates.there again no real distance and the camera was in a fixed position.
They should leave this for the next xbox - really knuckle down and intergrate it (where possible) with the next gen instead of introducing it this late in the day - Ninty at the mo have this Generation wrapped up so prudence would be advisable.
The 3dv Zcam can be use in all video games can Sony eye toy do that no.
