CriousGamer Writes.... For years now, CAPCOM has been a staple of the gaming industry. From both the production and publishing side of the fence, they have offered up a large and varied number of games that span any number of genres, and have created some of the most critically acclaimed titles ever. Looking back...

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
CAPCOM's problem these days is that they simply don't innovate. They know they have people's nostalgic childhood memories by the balls (Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Mega Man, etc), so they have no incentive to try new things.
Not to mention the fact that a lot of their original talent has left the company.
There is not doubt that capcom has made some of the best games that have come out this generation but there is no denying that they have become really hungry for money lately much like EA.
THANK-YOU. Finally someone with enough sense to mention a fantastic franchise that Capcom NEEDS to make nex-gen. Onimusha 5 would be mind-blowing I REALLY HOPE THEY ANNOUNCE SOMETHING ABOUT IT at e3.
I give Capcom credit for putting out a lot of good games, but they all seem to fall short of being worth the $60 and the need to keep them in my collection.
All "huge" devs have lost their way except for Blizzard
I'd say Valve too if it wasn't for Gabe Newell
