Obviously, the PS3 version was a lot worse...since it was a port, released at full price a year later, and had a mandatory install that people were very iffy about at the time.

That doesn't change the fact that it wasn't a very good game.

Uncharted is great because of its storyline, scale, emphasis on animation, unlockable features, pacing, enemy A.I., and replayability.

I would tell you why inFamous is great, but it's not out yet. I can't possibly know if it's great or not. I'm hoping it is though. This is Sucker Punch. They don't put out bad games. The storyline, powers, A.I., graphics, boss battles, variation of gameplay, and ability to change personality throughout the game are pretty intriguing though.

Where is the A.I. on this? Where is the storyline? Where is the motivation? Oh...you can play with three other people. That REALLY makes it a good game.

1.) No, LP didn't suck....your opinion doesn't = fact.
2.) No, the gameplay isn't the same...they've made many improvements with LP2.
3.) If "LP sucked" yet "everyone jumped on board with KZ2"....why did LP sell better than KZ2? Hmmmmm? Everyone jumped on board the KZ2 HYPETRAIN, before it released....then, in typical PS3 exclusive fashion...FAILED, at the retail outlets.
4.) There was a LOT that didn't work for HAZE...that's not even a logical comparison. Capcom didn't tout their game as superior to Halo, or claim it was only possible with the power of Cell.

3) Actually...Killzone 2 is outselling Lost Planet...week for week. You also have to factor in that Killzone 2 came out in Japan last week. It will surpass LP's 1.75M soon enough.

Lost Planet came out at a time when gamers REALLY needed something to play. People jumped at the chance to play a new IP. Look at the second week sales though. It went down exponentially. The same thing happened with Lair. People really wanted it...until they found out it wasn't really that great.
