NIN iPhone application gets rejected

Trent Reznor, front man for Nine Inch Nails, has spoken out against the arbitrary Apple App Store approval process, after his application
submission was rejected.

As posted on his personal blog, the rejection letter was as follows:
"Thank you for submitting nin: access to the App Store. We've reviewed nin: access and determined that we cannot post this version of your iPhone application to the App Store at this time because it contains objectionable content which is in violation of Section 3.3.12 from the iPhone SDK Agreement which states:

I was thinking the same thing. In recent years hes been pretty laid back. Its nice to see a little fire coming back into him.

lol. you can download explicit songs so i don't see why you can't download an app that contains explicit material. I'm not talking about anything illegal or inappropriate. but it doesn't make sense that you can buy a song with 'naughty words' but an app can't have any

rock on trent, could they not just put an age warning when you choose to download the app?, no?, too complex/ doesn't fit under setion 3.11.2 of whatever of their 'rules' that are flexible
