When it's the Xbot beating the Playstation, most of the PS3 fans here say things like "playstation owners play games not sales" or "Xbox fans just talk about sales" but when it comes to Japan all Playstation fans talk about sales. What up with that?

KILL-ALL-CURE6271d ago

Its called rubbing it in. Also mocking xbox users for caring about their top rated game.
Sales....
I hear it has new dlc coming, called Paying more for xbox live

JasonPC360PS3Wii6271d ago

It's called being a hypocrite :)

Godmars2906271d ago (Edited 6271d ago )

Since when haven't US 360 fans proclaimed any number around or over 100k in Japan as a "mega-win?"

360 man6271d ago

i think hypocrisy is at hand

Alcon6271d ago

Maybe because from what I see from their comments they don't base the awsomness of a game by how much or how well it has been sold. I don't think there is anything wrong in saying that the best sold (in this case) are Sony games. Thats just writing what is shown on the site.
If they said that 'X' Sony game that sold very well is super awsome because the sales show it, then yes that would be a hypocrisy, fanboyish and just imitating what the Xbox fanboys do all the time by sayin that the bigger the sales = the better the game surely is.

Thats of course my opinion. In my eyes there was nothing fanboyish or hypocrite in the comments. Once again if thay talked about sales = awsomness of the game , then I would call them fanboys and hypocrites myself, but I don't think this was the case here, because nobody said talking about sales was forbidden or fanboy territory, its how you value the importance of those sales that show your true color. If for you sale > quality of the game then your just a stupid moron, but otherwise I think its ok to talk about it in a normal way.

If you think number of sale tells if it failed then your a fanboy.

The funny thing is how you two Xbox fanboys are coming here lecturing people about beeing hypocrites when all you do is making fanboyish comments all the time (maybe you should read all your comments you've posted again, it might be due to a short memory syndrome) , look who is hypocrite now! lol.

Daikoukai Jidai Online: Cruz del Sur is out on the PS3???!! BRING IT HERE PLEASE

Godmars2906271d ago

B*tts in j-strings on the cover does sell games!

ps921176271d ago

Well to be honest I think that because it was competing against some other ps3 exclusives, but then again I really have no clue and victory is victory no matter what.

Godmars2906271d ago (Edited 6271d ago )

I'm almost certain that you're ready to make an issue out of the game selling *100* more on the 360.

Shame on you...

Elven66270d ago

I bet it's going to sell well enough to at least help make up for costs and maybe then some. Perhaps the key to selling games in Japan is to have a anime style girl on the cover with little to no clothing?

That's interesting a lot of people over here (The States) hate X-blades with the passion and rate it down, yet it seems to be selling Okay out their in Japan.

testerg356271d ago

I'm pretty sure 7800 copies isn't good.

Myst6271d ago

Yeah, not "Good" but seems "okay" for a title that was rated somewhat down heavily. Then again, it was a port from PC if I remember correctly so makes me wonder if the developers were even expecting that much.

Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.

They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

solideagle66d ago

they should know that we are OG fans of VIII as it sold truckload as well. not as much as VII or X. I personally didn't like IX but X and VI are my personal fav.

Shadow Hearts 2 covenant is another game I love. I hope one day someone can make remake, I would be delighted

Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.

jznrpg72d ago

My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.

Smellsforfree72d ago

Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.

Loktai72d ago

Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.
