With around nine out of 10 computers running one version of Windows or another it's clear that PCs are more popular than Macs, right? Just to be sure PCAdvisor put together eight compelling real reasons why your next computer should be a PC and not a Mac.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
I prefer PC for gaming, altough Mac is a MUST for diehard Dj's and students
Agreed
Don't forget the use with Garageband with Line 6 products like the KB37 (I own it) and the free Pod Farm plugin combined with a semi accoustic guitar + Shure SM58 mic... The electric guitar with all amps etc. is also crazy stuff!
A record studio that you cannot beat, it would take thousands of dollars to get something similair. Its crazy. I have a MSI Wind U100 netbook with OSX (yes it runs great) for about 300 Euro 2GB Ram + 160GB HDD, output on external display 24 inch 1080p, the KB37 for 239 Euro and a Yamaha CPX700 for about 450 Euro. The Shure SM58 is 99 Euro. Thats your recording studio for about 800 to 1.000 Euro there.
The problem with macs are they too expensive, and you cant really justify paying apples prices when you can get a system with a better spec for much less...
N4G is tired of posting 'PS3 vs 360' posts so now resorts to the age old comparison... which is better a Mac or PC..
Personally I have a PC as a desktop and a Mac as my Laptop. All my gaming is done on my PC (duh) and everything else is on the Mac mainly cause Mac OS>>>>>Vista. Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) actually feels graphically superior to Vista and still works much much faster than Vista. Even with 4GB Ram on my Pc, my Mac smokes it at start up and application launching speed. Also, I don't have to worry about Viruses or my Mac abruptly hanging... And lets face it... If I go to a coffee shop and open my Mac, ten people turn around and see it (By the way it's MacBook Air... world thinnest note book) whereas people hardly ever notice any Windows laptop with the oomph factor now (be it Vaio, Dell whatever....).
In my personal opinion, I feel Macs are better suited for me cause they add a novelty factor. Some people say it's not for the masses cause it's expensive blah blah blah... But hey I have it and I don't give a s*it if other people don't have the cash to buy it. One things for certain... if you come on the Mac side, you can never go back... And ya it's Apple!!!
