MS and Nintendo probably have submitted what they're showing just yet. This has nothing to do with them not wanting to hype their games. It's a timing issue.

I think the only people saying anything different are the PS3 only fans in here. You really think - Ghost of Sparta - doesn't realize what you said. I don't know why 1.3 got so many disagrees Microsoft's strategy has always been a shock and awe one when they're able to keep their content secret. They simply do not talk about games when they are not ready to be shown with the exception of delays.
The PS3 fans are nervous this is why they take note of the 360's software comforting themselves with nonsense all the while.

Hell I own the PS3 and I don't even pay attention to whats coming for it. You can imagine the trouble Sony is in when their own fans show more interest in the 360.

Even some PS3 fans know the list is broken based on solid info given so you know #1 was trolling.

This is too funny really. Sony is the only camp that has titles this year and everyone knows it. The other two are really sweating, Especially over the fact there might be a PS3 price drop. There isn't a counter for that at all.

Also it's funny Whydis has chosen an avatar from Japanese manga who has titles that have only appeared on Sony platforms.

Let them sweat. Sony has 20 first party studios, MS has 3. Who do you think will be showing the most. This get's brought up and the list isn't even close to being complete. Still they are desperate. With what do they respond?

Lost Planet 2 - A meh game who's first iteration wound up on the PS3.

Mass Effect 2 - A game who's predecessor balked on every promise made and who has yet to be denied as coming to the PS3 AND a game that we won't see this year at all.

Forza 3? Maybe? Possibly? Could be?

If that's the only thing they can throw back then they might as well try to take down a flight of F22s with a slingshot.

ofcource sony has more first party studios... they have been in the biz for 12 yrs with 3 generations now... microsoft came at the time of ps2 where the 3rd party support was really heavy for the ps brand... gta, resident evil and final fantasy were enough reason to buy a ps2... but microsoft had a good strategy coming into their first generation... they came out with original franchises like halo and fable ... and this generation they took as much thrid party support as possible... and now they have completed that task with the succesful shift of gta, resident evil and final fantasy onto the xbox brand... even with some thrid party exclusives like mass effect and gears of war.... and now i think microsoft will push for more first party support..

they (ms) need a lot of money to come up with first party studios.. i know most people think that ms is rich and has a much larger budjet than sony.. but that is not the case.. except for live and 360 slaes ms does not have a steady revenue ... as opposed to sony's ps1, ps2, psp and now ps3 sales with 20 something first party studios... they are cemented in the industry... ms still needs some time ... sony ruled the previous gens and garnered support from most studios coz they were alone and had no competion.. back then as a dev if you wanted to make a next gen game you'd go to sony because ther was no one else to turn to... but now you have a choice... hence it will take a longer period of time for ms to build first party support... but i'm sure they'll be building it regardless

MS may show Lost Planet 2 but.... Takeuchi told the group, "Right now we are concentrating on development for 360," before saying people should stay tuned for any potential announcements. Another timed exclusive? Most likely. Game does look great.

n64? really? apart from mario 64 i cant remember n64.. what do you remember psone for. final fantasy 7? metal gear solid? resident evil 3? ... bluntley putting it ... game cube was a faliure... resident evil 4 came too late in its gen to help it, sega dream cast failed even more... coz even though it had a good tech but with no marketting and no support it failed.. and the original xbox was discontinued oh so suddenly becoz again it came in late on a firmly establishe ps2 market and thus not much support from third parties... this is the first gen that sony is actually facing competition ... this is the first gen that almost all games are evenly spread on both systems.. this is the first gen that everyone is literally fighting for exclusives to stand out from the competition..this is the first gen where sony are forced to change their tactics... psn and trophie support .. this is the first gen they've faced true competetion... which is win win for gamers..

Saying they will push for more first party support is a something to laugh about. They had more first party support! They just got rid of it! In fact they just shut down Ensemble that built HALO Wars!

To say MS don't have enough money to support first party studios is silly.

MS just don't priorities where their cash goes. Look at all the advertisments that is where MS money goes. if they stopped with all this advertising they would have more than enough cash to open at least 2 studios. Then theres the exclusive DLC. Fallout 3, GTA 4 and the (possible) money used to secure FF13 as a multi. That cash could have gone into opening studios and funding projects.

and the reason they charge for live is to keep the servers running but they make a profit out of that something like over 50 billion is made from live just by subscription but yet we don't see this money go into new studios. They use it to secure timed exlcusives and DLC. All those ways that MS have made money but are not spending the cash wisely.

You said sony where financally sound, but looking after 20 studios is not an easy task thats why you very rarely see a sony AD cause they need that revenue to feed their 20 studios and fund the projects.
