New Mass Effect 2 Artwork

Kotaku: Bioware have released some more concept artwork for their upcoming sci-fi RPG Mass Effect 2, detailing what should be a few of the game's locations.

Other than it being just concept art.

These pictures are real masterpieces some of the best concept art I've ever seen for a game the third pic made me feel peace inside....which was weird.

Why dis6234d ago (Edited 6234d ago )

I got a hopeful feeling from the 3rd pic.

*Crosses fingers for high polished environments*

My comment is not smart ass the 3rd pic looks like humans/good aliens got devastated and this scene reminds me of a rally to fight back.

If you're disagreeing because I Think they will greatly improve the graphics your wasting your time thats a given. Just hoping for bump mapping and sheen effects etc this time around.

Why Dis, it's just PS3 fans RPG envy. Ignore them!

Perjoss6234d ago

finally they get a headline right for a mass effect artwork 'story', the last 2 were called 'mass effect 2 screenshots' and they were in fact artwork. Don't get me wrong, I love concept art but dont call it screen shots in the headline.

Love a good landscape. Now I just wish I could draw one. :/

Can't wait for the first trailer. Teasers are such a tease.

I popped in the first one again and started another character. It's really a great universe, it's got good gameplay (the fighting is better than I remembered) but the graphics are a bit flawed...they look great but can chug quite a bit at times. I'm having tons of fun though.

You can pick it up used at Gamestop for $14 or so...it's worth it if you haven't tried it yet.

Bro missing companions: Legion, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Javik, EDI

anast532d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine532d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast532d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman532d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast531d ago

Liam lol I can't stand that dude.

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave780d ago (Edited 780d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
