Lol. This will be the third, fourth remake?

I doubt it will happen anytime soon , however they did mention a reboot after 5 .
Wich could just be then a new fresh star with a new and less convoluted mythology.

I would choose a RE1 remake over RE5 any day.

and RE 2, RE 3, RE 4...

I want to see another Resident Game with the same style as RE 1-3. They already remade this on gamecube so RE 2 remake is a better idea for next gen.

Yeah the game cube RE-make still holds a flame to current games so remaking it again already is too soon

The cutscene from RE5 being a Flashback wasn't the Mansion. It was Spencer's Mansion not Arklay Mountain Training Facility. Chris and Jill went to Spencer's crib, hoping he would lead them to Wesker, fortunately they found him dead and Wesker with him.
Another fact we never get to see Spencer in the old RE nor even in the Remake.

I don't want a RE1 remake because Capcom already farked up RE5 and the whole story. RE 1 Remake was scary and I love the game. If they are to remake it, use the same stop and shoot, fixed camera angle and zombies!

But if they were to make a new RE game, they could make another Co-oP style game but with Fixed Camera Angle, dark and moody, stop and shoot and zombies. You play as Chris again and your partner will be Jill. Instead of Arklay Mountain, it would be Spencer's Mansion.

you mean screw ps3/xbox they already got a new resident evil that was trash, so now it would make sence to make it on the wii with better controls obviously.

While I can appreciate new and superior control mechanics, RE has already been re-done in a number of forms and they were good. Resident Evil on the GameCube STILL looks fantastic. I'd much rather Capcom and the team behind RE concentrate on reinventing the series and make a good NEW comeback to Survival Horror...not another remake...again...for the umpteenth time.
