IGN: Madden NFL 10 First Look

As soon as Madden NFL 10 spins up in your disc drive and you enter into the main menu, it's clear that this year's EA Sports footballer is aiming to be less about glitz and more about substance.

Gone are the futuristic menu backdrops and overly stylized menu systems. They've been replaced by a much more simplistic display. Images of NFL players and fans flash in the background as you work your way through the different menu options -- which are now a less abrasive font and seem to have a better flow as you progress.

Unlike at Christmas time, leaving a coffee stain on the case of a borowwed game causes large amounts of abuse from my friends.
