Why do they need it? Will they shut down if they don't get it? Relax if MS doesn't come out with an exclusive game for the rest of the year they'll still be making money. Not as much but money none the less. Wrap your head around this exclusives are nice but not everything. When did gamers become such driods? My system is better because it sells more, has more exclusives, plays blu ray, has avatars. It's about the fun you have with the games not the fact if they're exclusive or not. If you're worried about exclusives then buy every system out now

You have some valid points but I agree with DIRTY.

While multiplats could be (at least gameplay-wise) as better if not more enjoyable than exclusives, it's pretty clear that exclusives help to define, to make a console stand out among the crew. A system w/o exclusives just doesnt have identity, every game could be played in the competing system, so in the end your multiplat only system is just a bad choice for a true gamer.

That said, Im sure MS is doing whatever they can in order to keep this one as a timed exclusive, till now MS offering in the exclusive lineup dept is pretty underwhelming.

Exclusives aren't the be all end all of the gaming industry. As long as there are fun games for the console, whether they are exclusive or not, 360 gamers will be fine.

And it'll see poor sales on the Ps3, just like the first game.

And all Crapcom can do is scratch their heads and wonder why!

Actually Pennywize the 360 has gotten most of your Playstation games, stole 98% of all JRPG's, stole most of the PS2 fanbase, has a larger exclusive library and online catalog. Lets not forget feataurs you don't have like Live, cross game "chat", custom soundtracks, and AAA exclusive dlc you guys cry about daily. And to top it all off the 360 is outselling the PS3 in every way from games, hardware, dlc and Sony's own movies.

Most of the PS2 fanbase?? LoL 30mil units shipped figure less 9 million for replacement units.... do you think that is a dent in PS2's 140mil user base? If anything the wii is snagging the casual. But, hold on tight 2009 is going to be a bumpy ride for you 360 jock riders.

So I guess Lost Planet 1 at least on the 360 is great in your eyes. The PS3 couldn't handle it though agreed.

In that logic, Lost Planet 2 can hit 9.5.

a. you were never forced to buy the multiplayer for re5.

b. it was not supposed to have multiplayer from the start, it was tacked on and it probably cost them money to make it.

This game will not sell or be reviewed as highly as RE5. However RE5 was far from being a bad game. RE5 was a great game and well recieved by the majority of reviewers combined with great sales for both the PS3 and 360.

Don't bother, we already know that we'll get the superior version with exclusive contents... :D

Or you can keep it, after i saw Uncharted 2's Multiplayer & Co-op footage i could care less about this game... :D

That's what I got out of it at least. PS3 version probabaly still coming, just after the 360 game is done.

Capcom does support the PS3 but compared to how they are supporting the 360 I can see why people get mad.

PS3=MVC2 Demo and Home costumes
360=RE5 Demo 1 week earlier, exclusive Bionic Commando demo, Lost Planet possible exclusivity (probably timed exclusive), Announces that Dead Rising 2 will have something special for the 360 since Dead Rising was 360 exclusive

If I missed somethings that would either help prove my point in this post or make it irrelevant would be greatly appreciated I'd rather be informed about how Capcom supports both consoles equally than spitting out false facts.

By not giving equal support, by putting the same titles out later on separate consoles, it cuts into their profits.

The only problems I have with late ports anyway is the price they're asking me to pay full price for something I can get cheaper on another platform other than that as long as I'll eventually get a chance to play the game I'm good.

In my opinion it's not really an old game if it's new to the gamer playing it.

It will sell poorly on the PS3 because there are much better games out there. The first one was awful; this one has a chance of being marginally better, but who cares?

The first was not awful. Well maybe the ps3 version was but I had a blast with the campaign and the multiplayer. Fantastic game.

When the PS3 got the first one most Droids screamed "take that Xbots" Now, you play it off like "whatever" and the fact that you of all people are here making a comment and saying "I don't care" means you actually pissed and that puts a smile on my face.

Yet another "TIMED EXCLUSIVE" from M$. Seriously don't they get tired of paying developers... Even the developers are so stupid.... LP1 sold badly on PS3 cause it f*ckin came months late. A simultaneous release means more copies sold... simple.

As for M$, I think they should take all the money they invest in 'Timed exclusives' and 'DLCes' and invest them and make first party developers. Maybe then we will see some decent exclusives lined up for them.

Well i can pretend i dont care , because.... well i didnt care for the first one (and i could have bough it used to play offline on my little core ) .

Many of us got PC asides from a ps3 or 360 and didnt care either then , for a pretty superior version with lots of bonus .

Imo the first game was released at a time there wasnt that many great games on either platform . In short it benefited of lack of intense competition like you've seen fall 2008 for 360 ... or this year for the ps3 .
Of course that's my opinion , and i'll probably get disagrees from it . But imo it was just an ok action game , that wasnt even that good in multi from the few bits i've seen (and i aint talking about the dirty ps3 version either) that didnt get much competition .

Now the second game might be miles better , and then it might sting to miss it or play it later . But i pretty much didnt care for the first game .
Dead rising was another matter however , and a game i didnt ignore

Owning both means you miss nothing if you don't want to. Just the way I like it.

The game did very well on the 360, and was NOT as bad as some of you claim it is. It was a nice first attempt at a new IP that definitely had its faults.

The framework was there for a great game series. If Capcom just fixes some of the issues from the first game, Part 2 could be a real gem.
