This game looks really cool. It really looks like a game I would play. I like how you can go where you want and such around the city.

I really wish they would do a demo for this game. Come on Sucker Punch and Free Radical put your demo's out so that people who are only buying one but own both systems can compare.

inFamous is the PS3 exclusive. This is the game that looks like inFamous but it's multiplatform.

I think a game created exclusively for a console (be it PS3 or 360) will, by it's very nature, be more polished and technically competant than a multiplatform. As such, I'll go for INFAMOUS first.

PROTOTYPE does look a giggle though (and different enough to be worth buying) - I'll get it further down the line when it's reduced.

Both Prototype and Infamous is very similar to one of my favorite games in Crackdown so I'll definitely play them both.

First, I'm not bashing it because it is multiplatform, if you don't believe me then don't, I couldn't care less. Prototype looks extremely repetitive. Seems like your goal is to go ahead and cause mayhem just like in Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.

I'm going to rent it even if it turns out to be AAA.

-Wow, as a gamer this game sounds irresistible. Its funny how alot of dirt has been thrown at this game, "no story", "mindless Hulk game", "will get boring fast" etc; how some have come to these conclusions WITHOUT even playing it, when the vids show so much more potential I don't know, but I definitely have a different impression....lets just hope Radical nails it, if so this game might turn out to be a rare huge hit on both consoles.

When it was called Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Seriously, just look at the videos. Go rent/buy the Hulk game and pick up a car and it is the same animation and everything that is in Prototype. They also have the same moves like the elbow drop from the sky and just like the Hulk game you will probably have to earn different moves in Prototype. Prototype really is a rehash and if you want to try it early then just play the Hulk game cause it will play about the same as Prototype anyways.

but i don't gain anything by lying on the internet, so you can take what i say as truth, or with a grain of salt as you see fit.

the truth of the matter is that, back in April of last year, Prototype was looking rather decent. the devs were proud of their work, and the game was inching closer to it's summer release.

then, GTAIV hit, and they had to take an honest, objective look at what they had created and say, "you know what, we aren't ready yet."

and they WEREN'T. think what you will about GTAIV, but it is still, without a doubt, the most detailed, polished sandbox game available at the moment.

Prototype was very bland, and literally felt like Spider-Man with a new skin. the city didn't have much character or atmosphere, with the typical super clean streets with no level of dirt, grime, or realism that generally sells a game environment to the player.

from what i've seen of Prototype NOW, it has addressed nearly ALL of those issues, and looks infinitely better than it did a year ago.

like i said, the delay has done NOTHING but good things for Prototype. it's only a coincidence that inFamous happens to be finished and ready for release around the same time.

the games are so fundamentally different in everything from story, characters, graphics, environments, and gameplay that i don't see why people can't let EITHER game just be what the f*ck they are, and enjoy the one they find interesting.

i happen to find both interesting, so i'll more than likely enjoy both, i just thought i'd share a little insight into why Prototype was delayed, and why i think the finished product NOW is very much more in line with what the developers WANTED to do with the game than what Prototype was a YEAR AGO.
