Warner Announces Red2Blu Program

Warner Home Video through their WBShop.com website has announced that they will now allow HD DVD owners to exchange their old Warner HD DVDs for the Blu-ray version. This may be the last chance for owners of the now defunct high definition format to salvage some worth from their film libraries before sacrificing the discs to the dumpster gods.

a really cool. You would think that they would just f everybody over. Well now people with HD-DVDs won't be so pissed anymore.

Paramount had a similar system I believe last year.

I own both HD DVD (first) and Blu Ray (second), I'm not pissed, they both work after all :P My HD DVD player was my 360 so the drive fit in nicely with my setup. I'm sure those who have a standalone player are probably kind mad, at least some of them.
