if you listen to the podcast, Luke Smith seems to know what Shane was talkign about and said that they were 2 games had been released on other consoles before. Shane also thinks one of them is KOTOR which would make sense.

I would take anything those PS3 haters say with a grain of salt.

Will NEVER end up on the PS3, Microsoft is the publisher. More than likely it's going to be Dead Rising and/or Lost Planet. Ninja Gaiden Sigma will NEVER be on the 360, instead Itagaki said it himself that it wil be Ninja Gaiden 2, not Sigma. It could also be Bioshock, but I highly doubt it.

Lost Planet and Dead Rising are sucky games, i played them both, Lost Planet is a dull shooter, couldnt even finish the game i was so bored with it, and Dead Rising is fun... for the first hour, then it is only repetitive :( i would rather see Bioshock coming for the PS3

anything that is done by 3rd party and not published by MS or sony will almost definitely be multi-platform. there may be timed exclusives, but will eventually make it's way

BTW...I'm not impressive by Mass Effect at all. I'm sorry; it just looks boring to me. And I play more RPG's than anyone! I mean, KOTOR was good, but it's not like...AMAZING! Bioshock would be REALLY nice though. I doubt it's GOW, Mass Effect, Forza (haha...we don't want a GT rip-off), or Halo (haha...we don't want a Tribes rip-off)...

What are the chances of Gears going Sony?

This isn't as big of a news as Sony exclusives going to the 360, and it's actually no where as critical.

Why?

One console costs £425 whilst the other costs no more than £280 (with games).

What is more of a news? PS3 games going to the 360, making the price difference seem a joke in comparison. Or 360 games going to the PS3.

In other words, in one years time, you will see the same 3rd party games on both games. Except the PS3 will always cost more, making the only viable reason to spend that much difference because you love it's 1st party titles.

For the most part this is nothing but wishful thiking BS fun and games. I guess anythings possible with "Important Xbox 360 exclusives" going to PS3 after the PS3 fanbase warrents the theories.

XBox 360 exclusive is going to be on PS3 and Dusk you would have to be blind if you leave XBox 360 out the cost of development cause PS3 isnt the only console that is expensive to make games its the XBox 360 to as well you would have to be stupid to leave XBox 360 out. and DARK LEGION you would have to be extremely retarded to actually believe that Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XIII for the XBox 360 which is only exclusive for PS3.

This just goes back to the end of the console wars. If all of the consoles have all of the same games, you are going to end up seeing one console, period. Or maybe everybody will just own a PC.

That being said, I think it is awesome that the PS3 is getting some more games. I think the PS3 only owners will enjoy some more good games, and the Xbox 360 only gamers SHOULDN'T care two licks. This is gaming at its finest.

As I have said before, if I have to choose between the two formats to get a game... I will almost always go with the 360. The better intergrated online and the Achievments will keep me hooked. But I am still enjoying Resistance and Motorstorm.

I wouldn't take anything he says seriously. Sure, he's a ridiculus fanboy, but as there are a lot of them this isn't why you should ignore him. What is, is that he's the king of saying the most ridiculus, tabloid-like rumors that have absolutely no hope of coming true.

That being said, all third party games are fair game. Games like Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Fable, Halo, Gears, Alan Wake, Forza, PGR, God of War, GT, Zelda, etc. will never go to another console as they are either 1st party or published by one of the console makers. However, games like Lost Planet, Unreal, MGS, FF, GTA, Assassins Creed, Bioshock, etc. etc. are all fair game. Bioshock is at least a timed exclusive for the 360 as it has already been announced, but who knows after that.

As for the PS3 fanboys, I wouldn't get your hopes up too high just yet, considering the higher PS3 development costs and current lack of PS3 sales success. Europe can't be considered one way or the other yet and may easily stagnate like the rest of the world. However, if the PS3 does eventually take off, then all 3rd party games are open to go anywhere unless money is exchanged.

I heard somewhere that it was going to be a game that was on a Sony platform before then became an Xbox exclusive, but now is going to come back. If this is true than expect something lame like Odd World.

Correct me if I’m wrong but you generally have two types of exclusives a Timed Exclusive or an indefinite exclusive.

Timed Exclusive is when a game is released on a system for a certain amount of time before it can be released on other systems.
Example: GTA on PS2

Indefinite Exclusive is when a game will never go over to another system.
Example: Halo

So this would make games like Dead Rising and Lost Planet timed exclusives and not a loss for the 360.

I am not saying this will happen but what if it did. This would be one of the biggest news if you are a PS3 fanboy.

I am talking about 2 not 1 because MS published the first so there is no chance of the first one on the PS3.

But if MS does not publish the second one there could be a chance Gears 2 could end up on the PS3.

That being said I hope that does not happen because then the second has a good chance of being a watered down game.

On this VERY episode Shane is called out with his own words (They played back the tape) of how wrong he was on DMC4. So why on earth would ANYONE take his word on the same subject for future games? Seriously.. this guy is as much of a fanboy as DJ for Sony or Mart for the 360... How is this news? And if its Bioshock we all knew that anyways... nobody has said exclusive forever.

I just have to shake my head when they take the word of this moron (Shane) as news ... the guy is a sony whore who pretends he owns the house next to Phil.

It's actually nice to see some trade of between exclusives. I think that this way everybody will be happy and people pick up the game for the console they like. I have said before that 3rd party developers will mostly go multiplatform in the future because making good games now costs a lot of money and the exlusives will come from 1st and 2nd party.

Just glad to have a chance playing games that I would other wise not play because they would be exlusive to the 360 (as I want to get a PS3). And 360 gamers have a chance to play some of our games.

You know what would be really nice, if I could play a game online on my PS3 with somebody on the 360. I don't think it will happen. But maybe in the future with the next-next-gen, who knows.......

So some PS3 exclusives come to 360...and some 360 exclusives come to PS3...and fanboys react.

Bioshock is 360s Assassins Creed. I don't know. Maybe they'll do the Bioshock and MGS4 announcements on the same day.

Devil May Cry 4 has been made as a re-introductory game from day 1, and I think Capcom made that move especially to bring it to mass market as a multiplatform title. Same way Ninja Gaiden Sigma is being made as an introductory title for the Playstation fans, so my bet would be Ninja Gaiden 2, alongside Bioshock that is getting much anticipation from many fans around differing platforms.

It's probably going to be Lost Planet and Bioshock. ANY game published by Microsoft game studios (mass effect,alan wake) won't EVER be on playstation. jeez. This is "i want heavenly sword and killzone on the Xbox360" all over again.

We all know that most games come to the Xbox 360 to begin with and then soon after games that aren't Xbox 360 exclusives seem to quickly come are way as well, not the other way around for the most part.

But it seems to me that most all games due to $$$$ will be multiplatform, except games developed by the 1st parties, ex. Halo 3 for Xbox 360 only, but never PS3 or Wii. maybe one day to PC as that's under a MS operating system.

It's a safe bet that you'd make money on that MGS4 will most definately come to the Xbox 360 as well as FFXII. It's going to be a slightly better format and much better live capabilities on the Xbox 360 and dev.s want money money money. No surprise.

The news are OUT... PONG, Galaga and frogger are all coming to the PS3 and they are all next Gen.

I think we should all thank MS and Sony for trying to provide us with great entertainment for the next 5 or 6 years! When you think about it we are all gamers and all deserve the chance to play the games we want on whatever console we choose kind of like watching a movie in whatever theater we want!
