Majority of these games coming out lately are all 360 ports onto ps3..i`ll love to see how a ps3 game being ported onto the 360 looks like..

The only difference I see is that the color is more vivid in the 360 than the PS3 but the PS3 has no loading in the same areas the 360 players travel to.

After all I have heard over the last coming months I was kinda scared to watch that video to show the differences but now I have seen it I don't know what all the fuss is about! The differeces are minute and to be honest I was expecting a lot more from the PS3 and it's mighty cell. what a laugh!!

The 360 looks better hands down - but the PS3 loads quicker, which is important for this game. But I'd rather have it look that good and load on me for a second.

and that isnt counting having to pay for the game, another $65.00 + the HDMI cable that should come packaged with the PS3( no clue what that costs...i'm guessing $19.95 but I could be wrong), but doesn't. that ontop of a slower frame rate..witch apparently i'm the only one to point that out. Not to mention the fact that even though the ps3 doesn't say it's loading the area, it still is, and it still lags when doing so. look i've tried to talk myself into a ps3 but every time one of these videos come out all I can think about is how SONY swore that there would be an enormous difference in graphics between both of its competitors, and I am just not seeing this ENORMOUS difference. The difference is not a $300.00 dollar difference. Well the Xbox 360 version has more colour to it than the PS3 version but the PS3 version has les loading times. Great game none the less, i just gotta complete it on my Xbox 360.

Once again the xbox 360 looks more colorful and vibrant,the ps3 seems to be more washed out and grayed...could this be because that the gpu in the 360 is far superior,remember the rsx gpu was yesterdays tech as where the 360 gpu is the real next gen,but the ps3 has the cell cpu but its all about graphics and this is where the 360 shines folks...

If you want the true Oblivion experience - get it for the PC!! It is MUCH better on the PC. Not to mention the awesome mods for it. Consoles are great, but the PC always offers a better experience.

I am really tired of these posts.....the bottom line is play your console and have fun with the game...those minor differences in the game doesn't have anything to do with the actual game play.....

The pop up loads are annoying on the 360 but the 360 has better colors and the grass and the ground have better detail while the PS3 looks kind of washed out and almost looks as if it's struggling to push the same detail that the 360 is pushing! Still both games look so identical that the experience will be exactly!

game developers now days are depending alot on shimmering graphics for an excuse for good graphics. while both versions do have their fair share of shimmer graphics, i think the 360 has a little bit more of that shimmering/smearing graphics. the ps3 one is just sharper. the 360 is alot like Gears of war graphics with the contrast and shimmer/smear. along with the loading times, i say the ps3 version has the edge. but the difference in graphics is really so small its hardly worth debating over.

I think both look damn near the same and my hats off to Bethesda for making a really good game. Also..the reason you see loading area.. on the 360 and not the PS3 is because the game puts 4+gigs on the PS3 HDD. It really helps with the loading.

Like every other comparison like this, they look nearly identical. The PS3 version does look slightly better, and while it is more significant than most other multiplatform games- it still isn't a big deal. What IS a big deal, though, is the superior performance of the PS3 version. Not only did the 360 have to load up areas that the PS3 was capable of handling without doing so, it also experienced some nasty hitches. I think this has a lot more to do with the PS3's hardware compared to the 360's than the graphics change does.

That makes me wanna go out and spend $200 more for a POS ps3. I mean if I spend an extra $200 dollars own something it better look as different as the wii and xbox 360.

The 360 version seems to have more detailed textures and better shading, but it's kind of hard to make a detailed comparison at this resolution...

I've never seen oblivion in motion before and I must say that the game is really beautiful. I can see why they wanted to remake it.

Oh but I must say that the PS3 version looks rather blurred when compared to the 360 version.

I'm a wii gamer so that was unbiased.

The colors look much richer on the 360.

Colors look over saturated on the 360 giving it a more cartoony look. Rocks and stones are not suppose to be that colorful. Also, some of the finner details are lost in the dark constrast. Someone once stated that it's the 360's graphics card that is making natural colors appear more vivid. Well in some cases, this isn't always a good thing.

I am an avid PC gamer and own what you would call 'next gen' GFX cards from both manufacturers (an ATI 700 and an Nvidia 7900). The difference you see between the two machines is also noticeable on the latest gfx cards, i.e ATI cards run with a higher contrast... I was a little alarmed when I played CS:Source with my new 7900: - the colours looked more vibrant with the ATI card... This 'problem' however is nothing that can't be sorted with a little tinkering of your TV/Monitor settings (brightness, gamma, contrast, colour etc..).

I personally feel that in the video the xbox's (ATI) shadows had too hard a drop off, losing detail on the clothes and on the horse (again just my opinion).

Now we come to FPS drop and load stuttering. I beleave from what i've seen and what the developers have said that the PS3 cpu handles the games loading a lot better and this has aloud for more detail to be added. I have to say from experience of building my own PCs that a better CPU makes more difference than any other component. Paring a lower end budget card with a fast CPU will still give you some really good frame rates.

I see the PS3 showing some real improvements in the future, Sony again like the last console they brought to us have made their machine difficult for developers to code. This isn't such a bad thing as it adds some longevity to the console (people will still be going wow years to come, think GOW).

Lastly: Who wants a one console world anyway?

I don't understand the fuzz about "RICH" colors, i personally like how the PS3 looks in this case and in some more, cause it looks more real in the colors perspective..

I don't like having too many strong colors on a game it takes the reality away from it from my point of view.. If the game takes place on TimeSquare, in the city of Japan or in the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory then give me LIVE and RICHER colors, but is not..

I like it that way cause it looks more real, if i wanted rich colors i'll buy crayons.. I sincerely like that about the PS3..

If the 360 is so great then why do they keep milking Halo for every penny. After Halo 3 they knew they would bomb so they created Halo Wars. Gimme a break MS. When the PS3 1st party titles start to drop that will slow the sell of the 360 greatly. Thats why Bill is throwing money at as many companies as possible. I Cant stand the colors in the PS3 version. Yea the PS3 version is better in some things. Maybe a extra year.But please fix that color problem. The grass and trees on the 360 have it hands down.

Besides the color differences and loading times where that there was dynamic looking clouds on the PS3, but really when your in a oblivion gate fighting the daedra our you really going to care about a little sharper picture or are you going to worrie about bashing in that daedras skull. And in my opinion the 360 version looked better. Detail, colors, ect.... But both still looked great. I downloaded the patch yesterday for Oblvion and boy oh boy does it make a BIG difference. Now, I can't wait for the expansion on Tuesday. Anyway...I saw a few people mention the clowds looking better on the ps3 version. I don't think those people understand that the weather, clouds, ect...change from day to day in Oblvion. There isn't any way for the guys at Gametrailers to get the exact same day's forcast to show cloud comparissons. It looked to be more cloudy on the day the ps3 version was showing, and less cloudy on the day the 360 version was shown. Obviously both versions look good. And we all have our opinion on which looks better.... Both 360 and ps3 owners should be very happy. I know I am after I downloaded that patch....WOW....AN already gorgeous game just got more gorgeous.
