Vista is terrible. Interface is good, but locks-up too much for me.

Haven't had many issues with Vista, but I did encounter a few incompatibilities from running a 64 bit processor. All told, I'm happy with vista, but am looking forward to a more streamlined W7.

I wanted to try the Windows 7 Beta, but my old Acer laptop RAM is maxed out a 1-Gig. I just brought a HP Pravillion and will upgrade to Windows 7.

I've also tried the beta. I love the interface as well as it's fast and responsive. Unfortunately after several installations I keep getting multiple problems. The largest of which is after running it for a week or two, Windows 7 beta refuses to shut down making me to a hard restart of my PC. On top of that, I've gotten a lot of BSODs so unless Windows 7 much more stable, I'll not be upgrading. I'm not going to lose HDDs because of BSODs and forced restarts.

There are rumors that the Windows 7 interface in the Release Candidate will look a lot different from the beta.

I'm waiting for the Windows 7 Upgrade Program to start (June 26th). Any PC bought after this date should get a free upgrade to 7 from Vista!!
