Or at least admit they serve NO purpose!

Chubear6239d ago

they serve the same purpose as Wii Mii's serve and everyone knows all the great stuff you can do with Miis >.>

All-36239d ago

Actually... even though it's "mandatory" --> one doesn't have to put any thought into an avatar, you can use a DEFAULT one.. and then just use the older style GUI - that is still included. It's still --> an OPTION.

edgeofblade6238d ago

Snarky lame crap like this is what is eroding game media. If we want the industry to mature, the press must mature too.

Chubear6239d ago

it's great to know you can always just go to several other servers and get in on a game :)

II Necroplasm II6239d ago (Edited 6239d ago )

I haven't been in home for a while because all of the crowd. I just go in the arcade rooms anyways lol

I lost interest in home, I have LBP to play anyway.

edgeofblade6238d ago

I'm not a fan of Home, but it's pretty cool I can mix and match SFIV characters and throw a cowboy hat on him. MS needs more game-specific clothes for their Avatars.

Disagree all you want, you know it's true and the truth sometimes stings like hell.

GiantEnemyCrab6239d ago

Nobody has mentioned Home and noone is throwing a fit in this thread besides you. Is there anything a PS3 fanboy won't cry and troll about?

"Crazy. I don't know how MS does it but they are masters at making their consumers eat crap and love it."

WTF are you talking about? I hate avatars, Home is stupid and Mii's are worthless. Tell me how I am loving it as 360 consumer?

Besides that what is so crappy about adding a feature to the system? Useful or not is irrelevant. There are a few games that support avatars and I expect more plus the PrimeTime section on Xbox will all be driven by the avatars so they will become more relevant.

You are generalizing and it sounds like you take what some 360 fanboys say to heart.. sad.

Nobody is in here celebrating how they love their avatars and this is not even news, it's more Bad Joystick. You take some burping avatars video and equate that to 360 fans celebrating that they have them??

STIKUP ARTIST6239d ago (Edited 6239d ago )

I hate these stupid avatars, I wish they would at least let me wear baggy jeans and let me turn my hat around.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde27d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

Soy28d ago

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
