I'm glad my game is in that list although it should have been placed @#1. My game has sold very well, despite the $2,000,000,000,000 offer from Microsoft and a lot of pressure from Konami, I didn't allow myself to port this game to Xbox 360 as the dumbed down version would have gotten a possible average Metacritic of 25-35. Also, I doubted that the people who paid actual money for an Xbox could understand such an intricate and complex story. I wanted a sophisticated, educated and game-literate audience to appreciate the beauty of this installation of the Metal Gear Solid saga.

HAHAHA nice comment. Bubbles :D.

Very funny. Great list, between. But I would have replaced Flower with either Heavenly Sword, WarHawk or Ratchet and clank: TOD.

Mr_Potato_6237d ago

@Snatcher : replace Flower by Valkyria Chronicles, best JRPG this gen according to reviews and in my opinion too. Great story, characters and art direction, VC is a gem which needs to sell more. Go buy it.

Knock out Flower and replace it with R&C:ToD and it would be one of best lists I've seen here in a while.

Not that Flower was bad, but next to R&C...

Defectiv3_Detectiv36237d ago (Edited 6237d ago )

All I played was the demo but it seemed like more of a kiddie game - at least LBP has crossover appeal.

I actually like the fact that flower is on this list, that game is easily one of the better network games to come out in a while for XBL or PSN.

I wish they could make a full fledged game that uses the sixaxis as well as flower. Whenever I show one of my friends all my PS3 games they always get stuck on that one.

EDIT: XAMBOL - just because I replied to your comment doesn't mean I hit 'disagree'

themyk6237d ago

Yes ratchet and clank is THAT good. Do urself a favor man. Play that game. So you'll be ready for the next one. God I love that game.

xabmol6237d ago

"seemed like more of a kiddie game"

This is why so many people missed out on the PS2 R&C games, and the greatness of Patapon and Loco Roco.

"I wish they could make a full fledged game that uses the sixaxis as well as flower."

They actually made a game like that a while ago, but it was bashed relentlessly in the reviews for having sixaxis only flight controls. *cough*Lair*cough*

"XAMBOL - just because I replied to your comment doesn't mean I hit 'disagree'"

Uh... OK? Same to you?

Freak of Nature6237d ago (Edited 6237d ago )

I agree xabmol....

My list....

5.KZ2
4.RATCHET AND CLANK TOD
3.MGS 4
2.Uncharted

1.LittleBIGfantastic....

IcarusOne6237d ago

It's fun in a childish, platformer sort of way, but it's certainly no revolution of gaming. Flower on the hand, totally deserves to be on that list.

But LBP? Please.

And could this guy sound like less of a noob? "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots pushed the Playstation 3’s audio capabilities with crystal clear sound effects, top notch voice acting and a cinematic soundtrack." This feels like grasping at straws. All the elements crammed into that game, and all you can say is something horrifically generic about the crystal clear sound effects and great voice acting?
Weren't those included in MGS2 and MGS3? Weren't those aspects of PS2 games?

Find the next level.

a killer defect.. RRoD + E74 = 101% failure rate.

yeah, i have all five.. i would substitute valkyria chronicles for flower, though.. and i would add a racer there somehow.. gt5p, wipeout, MS2:PR, or ridge racer even..

I don’t think I’ve ever quite experienced an unfinished game that was slapped together with duct tape and construction paper to be sold as a finished product, basically making you replay the same missions and include a story that clearly was missing so much of the plot, like I did with this game.

I’m actually shocked that it doesn’t get calls out for this more.

franwex80d ago

It did. But the gameplay loop is still pretty good.

Konami Delists Some Metal Gear Games From Digital Stores Without Warning

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD have been delisted from digital stores without warning.

cloganart87d ago

I mean, it makes sense. With Vol.2 coming and all that

Commentby87d ago

Stupid headline. Should state that they are being updated or discontinued. This makes the crazy people that only read headlines think it some kind of conspiracy to take away peoples already purchased games.

jjb198187d ago

If you want to all of a sudden own them now and haven't played them yet because a remastered is coming out, shame on you. I can't believe people are complaining about this 15 years later when it was bound to happen anyway. "A new remaster is out, quick, I'd better buy the original from the shop."

gigoran887d ago

Gamers: "Physical? who needs physical? everyone knows that digital online games are the future. stop living in the past. we don't need no stinking disc drive"

Same gamers: "How dare the delist a digital game that I own!!!!"

computeSci87d ago (Edited 87d ago )

And? What is your point?

Same gamers: "How dare the retailers to delist (quit selling) a physical game that I own!!!!"

I think you just read the headline and don't know how dilisting works with Sony. It's common knowledge that:

"Players who already bought the games will still have them in their library and can download and play them as usual."

So again, what is your point?
