In an article on their new website Playr writes, we're only in April and already there have officially been 67,221 game sequels released this year and there's plenty more to come. We've had Rezzie 81, Killzone 64 and Street Fighter 103 Alpha Plus Beta. And soon we'll be treated to Fifa 1066, which will of course be closely followed by Pro Evo: This Time It's Personal!
Now, you may be forgiven for being a little cynical about the intentions of publishers who rather than investing in new games instead choose to knock out an endless stream of upgrades, updates and rewrites of proven hits.
But if you think there's not enough risk taking and originality in the games industry, well that's nothing to what went on in the movie world when it was about the same age.

VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "Each of these articles will be centered around a specific theme, whether that's a style of music, a specific console, or just something completely different. Also, at the end of each of these articles, I will pose a video game music related question on something usually related to the theme of the article, which you can answer in the comments below if you so wish. Each article will highlight between five and ten different tracks from various games, in no particular order.
With that in mind, let's start with a theme that's quite timely and relevant right now thanks to the recent release of Red Dead Redemption 2. The American old west has inspired countless different video games and produced some amazing pieces of music over the years, so let's have a listen to just a few such tracks."
DSOGaming writes: "Now here is something really cool that may never see the light of day. KlStudio is currently working on a fan remake of the classic Lucas Arts’ western first-person shooter, Outlaws, in the Chrome Engine 4. This fan remake will be a mod for Call of Juarez Bound in Blood and the team has released its first gameplay footage."

It’s that time of the month again folks. The time where gamers collectively gather all over the internet to criticize what free games they get this month. So, who plundered the other's fanboys for all their self-worth and gratification in life? Who was the victor in July? Let's take a look.
you never understood math a school, now did you? all them numbers and sh!t.
