Has anyone noticed that many of the most anticipated unannounced projects seem to be PlayStation 3 exclusives? Not all of them, certainly, but the buzz tends to center on PS3 games that haven't been officially confirmed just yet, and there is the distinct possibility that we could see some huge announcements at E3.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

Why did Sony push Shuhei Yoshida out of his role leading PlayStation's first-party games? He'd overseen some huge successes. Well, apparently, he didn't listen.
Yeah I can see that for sure. Shuhei Yoshida should have been in charge not Jim Ryan.
More confirmation that Jim Ryan is the culprit for what has happened to Sony. Hulst needs to go too. What sucks is that a lot of the good top heads at Sony are no longer there. I wish that guys that were forced out prematurely by Dumbo Jimbo like Shuhei and Layden came back.
Makes you wonder if MS even thought about hiring him after Phil and Sarah were leaving. He certainly couldn't make their situation any worse.
All the gamer/consumer lead heads are gone across PS and Xbox. shuhei gone phil's gone (questionable) but gone. The future of gaming is somewhat uncertain across the board.
I don't buy that. I want to finally see actual game footage of Heavy Rain at E3(not a bonus scene), along with a solid 2009 release date. I want to see Team Ico's new game at E3, I want to see Twisted Metal PS3 at E3.
Probably none with happen. Pretty disappointing.
Hey. They stole mah avatar!
The only reason there will be new announced title for 2009 and 2010 for the PS3, is because Sony have already said there will be.
I'm expecting 2 of their 5 RPG's to be shown with one of them being Legend of Dragoon 2. I think that it will be more possible then either KH3 or FF7 remake being announced, but if the last two happened then I'm all for it.
Team Ico will obviously show (may still be trying for a 2009 release) and Twisted Metal is definitely on the cards. I suspect Sly Cooper for PS3 and another for PSP will be shown for 2010 releases and Gran Turismo 5 to be a 2010 release, but some of the features shown will become part of free patches for GT5P: At the moment, GT5P is going to be a marketing avenue neither Sony or PD will want to miss.
I can see many other things being announced (along with around 10 PSP titles). The only question is whether MS and Nintendo will be able to oust Sony out of a very awesome software position for 2009.
than there is Syphonfilter 5, the Team Ico project, Twisted Metal, Hardware 2, Heavy Rain, Wardevil, the Rockstar Exclusiv, GT5, Uncharted 2,
Ratched and Clank:acit, Starhawk, Cambridge project (maybe Medievil), God of War 3, and the rumored RPGs like Darkcloud 3, Legend of the Dragoon Remake or sequell, Wild Arms, Rogue Galaxy 2, and Skys of Arcadia ( Sega has given some Hints about that last year). But its possible that some of this games will show at TGS2009, cause there main audiance is in Japan for games like that.
"PS3 exclusives machine"
I know... It never stops.
