Danish developer Deadline Games, who worked on the recent Watchmen: The End is Nigh game, are, like a lot of businesses these days, in financial difficulties. According to a recent interview with Danish ComOn, Deadline Games CFO Christian Pedersen-Bjergaard said that the company needs to land a project soon or it will face bankruptcy.
Raymond Porreca of Entertainment Buddha writes: "Below are five of the best looking video games ever to be cancelled. Between studio closings and budgetary cutbacks, these titles were cut down before the could ever be developed fully, leaving those who read about them or watched early gameplay trailers to forever think of what could have been."
One of the worst moves by square, what the should have done is brought that team in officially and have them continue to make chrono Resurrection.
An opinion piece looking at 16 cancelled games and the author attributes his opinion to as whether he believes they will be revived in the foreseeable future.
Gotta hate cancelled games but sometimes it is actually quite okay, if a game is shit etc.

Dam has it been that long since we've seen eight days? Ps3 launch and now the ps4, I'm doubting that game might ever come out, shame they shelved it because it looked to be a big seller

Agent? I know that hasn't been cancelled, or spoken of for a while.. Hope they can shed some light on it soon.
I remember hearing that The Getaway is just put on hold while focusing on other projects but it seems like it won't come out at this point it's a shame a lot of people were looking forward to it. Also what about Agent, Heat, and inSANE I hope those games happen!
Getaway and Eight Days were canned for EYETOY, EYEPET AND SINGSTAR!! STILL winds me up to this day!!!
I so hope this does not happen. I really liked the concept of the game and I think the game could have been loads of fun. Also no one wants to lose there job so I hope Deadline Games stays open so no has to wonder what they will do now.
Dammit, I wanted to play Faith and a .45, Total Overdose was good too, unfair. :(
