The PS3 is doing just fine, and will gradually gain way more momentum like its big, little brother did, and they've risked a LOT more, to even still be here. 3rd party game developers, have gotten extremely lazy w/some of these franchises, and I see outstanding changes being made, to finally accommodate this architecture.

there's a bunch of things sony could do that would be damn nice. personally i'd be more than content with a few jrpg games announced, as well as some confirmed release dates for various games. obviously new games/sequels are also acceptable =)

i think i'll be quite happy with whatever sony does announce, tho.

GOW3 release date. That is one of about three games that showed that the PS2 could compete with the xbox360 in graphix. The others in my opinion were MGS3 and GT.

Seriously? Just a load of stuff that was already predicted by gamers (okay, I would have done the same but even still, I would have added a paragraph or two then just "Sony announces Game X") and then stuff which is a load of crap, particuarly the 20GB silver PS3.

E3 is awesome....as I actually prefer this over March Madness and the first two rounds of the NBA playoffs. First of all, ALL systems/companies/developers will show off some great stuff.

I am just now playing Bioshock on my PS3, and IT'S BANANAS!!! I can't wait to see something on Bioshock 2 (On both systems, of course), Drakes 2, Ratchet&Clank, Infamous, MAG, Grand Turismo 5, God of War 3, Heavenly Rain, and hopefully...other Naughty Dog/Insomniac sightings. I'm sure X360 will show off some new stuff like Halo: ODST and Nintendo will make some waves.....BUT I knew that Sony would once again deliver, and 2009-10 looks pretty incredible. A announced price cut...and the competition will start sweating.

Sony could announce nothing new at E3 and I would still be satisfied with the titles they've already announced (^_^). I can always depend on Sony to dish out some great 1st party titles that I'll be interested in.

Hoping that a few of those games that fell off the radar, got stalled or whatever reemerge. Like 8days or Wardevil(which a mate insists IS coming out in Nov this year and now looks amazing-I don't believe him but that's what he says)-games like the "secret BBC" one would be great to hear more about and perhaps some of the supposed in house Sony jrpgs would be great too.

O have a feeling there will not be any nig price cut news for PS3 and loads of PSP stuff culminating in them showing PSP2 but no release til mid 2010. I'd go as far as to suggest the oft mooted remake of FF7 is more likely to happen on PSP/PSN than as a full blown PS3 game. A proper PSP remake would sit well alongside the FF titles on the handheld like Dissidia et al. Also PSP LBP, Motorstorm and all the rest of it.

That's without any of the games we know are coming being shown-your U2, QT, R&C, MAG, GT5, HR, Infamous etc, etc, etc. the Eyetoy games Will reappear-eyedentify and Eyepet for the holiday season I reckon.

Obviously there's the likelihood of Warhawk2 and Twisted Metal PS3 and the new Ico being trailed-there's loads of Sony studios with unconfirmed projects that we know are doing something.

Sony will have lots up their sleeve but guessing what we see, without even touching on multis is impossible to tell. MS and Ninty will also have some surprises but in MS case I hope it isn't just more PSexclusives going multi as 360 owners deserve more than that-games you can only play on their sysytem(well that's whjat I want for my 360 anyway)and a version of KH3 or MGS4 isn't gonna do much for anybody is it?

Whatever, I just hope the revamped, big again E3 delivers from all three console makers as well as the devs so we gamers can keep enjoying the escalation brought by competition.

Apart from game announcements and updates on future releases i expect something major as far as Home is concerned, it's starting to go in the right direction now and i think they'll announce the "next phase"

I honestly can't see why this guy believes that a 20GB model is a good idea. It's not like having a HDD that small would really have much of an impact on price in terms of maybe lowering it if that's what he thinks they could achieve by this.
Anywho I too am waiting for any official word of a new Twisted Metal game!
And as an aside, I reckon SSX should be resurrected. God I loved that series.

Halo will probably sell more, because that's all there is.

Due to the lack of first party games, and AAA coming to 360, when a decent enough game is out for 360, from a decent break, 360 fans will rush out and buy.

With PS3 games, they are like buses. Many come along at once, and you'll notice, most sell 2-3 million.

So every dev gets a piece of the pie.
