"Admittedly, the city of New York itself has been served up in videogame form on a tri-yearly basis for most of recorded history (and Ghostbusters will soon put the place through armageddon yet again), but as soon as you play that opening Times Square level you'll see what an utter play-ground of destruction Prototype has made it. Once the game proper begins you'll have the run of the place, whether you're stirring up hives of Infected and leading them into the military to kick off impromptu battles or simply attempting to climb the highest skyscraper you can find, giggling inanely with a struggling policeman in your left hand. The city will genuinely react to your presence and your actions; the days that people would ignore you or mutter something like "Hi Spidey" as you pirouetted into the middle of 34th Street in Spider-Man games are long-gone."

From Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Batman: Arkham City to breakout hit Dispatch and new Marvel Cosmic Invasion, these are 10 of the best superhero games you can play today.

Not all video game protagonists are sweet, jolly, or wholesome. Folks like Agent 47 are cold, ruthless, and reserved and it shows.
Ah, fond memories of strangling all the people in their hotel rooms in Hitman 1
Lara Croft, Nathan Drake etc, cos they pretend to be the good guys but are mass murderers that show no remorse.

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Heh, I like the bit where you'd be able to accuse people of being you (Alex) in disguise. Hilarious, I wonder how that works out!
Is it just me, or does this game look repetitive? I mean, the blowing up everything in sight looks cool but there doesn't really seem like much of a story, i.e. rinse and repeat.
I hope this doesn't turn out to be another Assassin's Creed, which had great visuals btw, but story is what drives the narrative (or is it the narrative that drives the story) not the action -- they should ask the heavy rain producer for tips.
