US-based Qualcomm Inc recently announced a gaming solution for 'The Next Billion' – the Zeebo. Targetted primarily at developing countries such as India, China, Russia, and Brazil, the Zeebo aims to succeed where other consoles have failed by enforcing anti-piracy measures and maintaining competitive prices. While they are very optimistic in their planning, anyone with a fair understanding of the Indian gaming market will tell you that their strategy just won't work.

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.

A three-episode live-action adaptation of the first two Yakuza video games will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s YouTube channel.
I love that controller. :-p
On topic: I only see the Zeebo as being a success in Brazil. India is much more receptive to the Playstation brand with the PS2 (and 360 to a degree).
I'd say price is a big factor in all of this. Trust me when I say that RS. 5,000+ is definitely not something you would want to throw away. The PS2 is a trusted gaming station in India, and most people would rather have it then the Zeebo, almost all of the reasons provided in the article.
since i have been to india and to Brazil i will say it will fail big time there are so many reason the first is that it is a poor country people dont have money to waste like the most of us who work or own there own bussines it's like this either they eat or play now u pick lol then again the people that could buy will most likey buy a ps3 or an xbox, wii etc even if this is $50 it wont sell good lol
Here come the Zeebo fanboys! Tally-hooooooo!!!
it will be hard 2 enter the gaming industry against the 3 big(MS,sony, Nintendo ).
also its price (180$) is higher than ps2(100$) + the game library is very small compared 2 the ps2.
