thats the biggest thing that made me not really play it nearly as much and gave a big dissapointment imo is that IW only released a ONE map pack with only 4 maps and a few reversed modes to play.

With a HUGE siccesss that COD4 was you would think they would be supporting the community and players more then usual.

Well,as far as wut to expect from Modern warfare 2: just hopeing that they do a few things really.

1)community support with MORE DLC and updates and so forth.
2)change the prestige thing to were you can achieve more wen go to the next prestige and keep your weapons.
3)MORE PERKS.
... and im sure some more but its to early in the morning for me to be thinking that hard lol.

its gunna be hard to compete to the King FPS Killzone 2 so they have got to rev up the next game so it doesnt seem bland or an COD4 upgrade or something like that.

oh,and one more thing: add in game clan support and clan matches cuz gamebattles suck b@lls.

sorry but im not paying for a game thats exactly like one i already have with 6 different changes and a slight tweak in graphics, thats like buying gow2 after having 1 lmao, kz2 > cod anyways in many aspects enjoy guys on the 360

releases new maps and vehicles,weapons(maybe) . . . .for the guys with PS3s. . .I dont think the new COD will be better than KZ2.360 guys too. .I mean,I loved COD4. . . .but more of the same isnt so cool. Just watch IW make this a 'guitar hero' franchise now,lets bet we'll see this as a spinoff of Modern Warfare,and another 'Call Of Duty' game.

L4D its bound to sell more than killzone 2 duh its a bigger franchise and its multi plat but yeah lets see if they can be arsed to do trophies and rumble on ps3 version they are really lazy and fixing stuff in game music would be nice aswell can tell they prefer the 360 more as they have said it still cant wait pre ordered it

Really though, I may not be buying this either unless they lengthen the story. I'm not a MP kind of guy unless it's stress free fun. :)

well i'll tell you why... cuz we as ps3 gamers have better games and MORE games to occupy us and keep us on the edge of our seat.
MW2 is kinda like an "option" for us wen for 360 owners its like a "NO CHOICE" type of thing since they dont have many good titles.

all i can seriously think of is perks and prestige (witch was retarted imo),and i dont know if perks were in other games but oh well.
it didnt really do much exccept the visuals for that time were great.

they neeed to allow mods on the ps3.. and if MS allows on the 360 too.. i know Sony will allow it coz they did allow it on UT3 so i have no idea on why they wudnt allow it for MW2 :)

What I would like to see is a longer SP game, otherwise I will not buy it.

If the SP game is just as short, then they might as well not make the game and do a patch with more maps and a few extra weapons for COD4.

At the end of the day, MP will be very similar for both cod4 and cod6, so to me that wouldn't be worth the purchase.

1st and foremost is a longer single player campaign, though im sure this will be a given.

split screen co-op and competitive online would be nice.

hopefully the only thing i don't want to see in the multiplayer is the use of vehicles, because then any noob can just sit in one of these friggen vehicles and get like 30 kills and no deaths. If u play cod waw then u know what i mean :S

I'm not buying this game unless something is going to be changed (unlike COD5).

Here's a good list for some changes:

-New perks,guns, modes and maps.
-Two-player co-op splitscreen, heck make it even 4 players BUT PLEASE do not box in the screens like COD5 did, not everyone has an 80' LCD.
-Up to 4 players allowed on System Link, most people only have one 360/PS3 lying around and they're not willing to buy another 17 consoles just to have fun with a few friends.
-Longer campaign.
-Support for the game, more maps and the creation of mods for consoles would be nice.

When I bought CoD4 I felt like I was ripped, a short SP campaign, and normal mulitplayer (though very addicting) and only one map pack. Over 10 million people bought your game and you served them one boring map pack which was also bought my millions of people.

Don't be money hungry this time, everyone fell for your multiplayer, but that's not enough for loads of people.

I REALLY hope it has some kind of a zombies or suicide terrorist thing. Holding a house with 3 other buddies with modern weapons, perks, claymores, air strikes...etc, would be AMAZING.

I can only say waw to the people that dont like cod 4, it's the best game ever made!!! and i own KZ2 also, but it doesn't come even close to cod 4 IMO. Sure cod 4 gets boring after awhile but its still one of the best games out there.

MW2 can try and grab a lot of socom fans by doing 2 things:

1. Create a great clan battle and ladder system
2. Have 2 types of clan war ladders, those that have normal respawn go out and get kills before you die, and have a hardcore ladder that has no respawn and no HUD, similar to socom and the team based game type in COD4, that is round based, best out of 11 or something, defend and capture hostages would be awesome

COD4 was stellar, but some of the maps were boring and too small.

Thats what I liked about killzone 2. The maps are amazing. You truely get the sense of chaos, a warzone, and deterioated buildings...

For all those who are stupidly addicted to COD series. Give Killzone2 a chance, its amazing how many people only compare everything to COD. What did u guys do before COD? compare everything to another game?

i have no idea what to expect. all i can say is that i dont envy them at the moment, they got a tough job trying to top their previous game COD4. and graphically i find it hard to believe that they could wow us PS3 owners by outdoing KZ2... just dont see it happening. but of course their engine hasnt gotten old for most people, still looks amazing and FREAKING SMOOTH. i dont care if it doesnt completely wow me.

what i WANT to see though gameplay-wise:

crowd mechanics. civilian NPCs playing a role in multiplayer. imagine going into buildings that are NOT empty and dead, instead finding families taking shelter, yelling in panic etc. would be pretty amazing IMO.

also, hmm.. some new fresh ways of combat, maybe some underwater diving missions? or rescuing the crew from a sinking submarine. or something like that.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
