
There's nothing there for people who don't already like the game, but the transition was so seamless that it's an absolute purchase for fans. At $10 it's less than half the price of a physical game board, so convincing a few people to pick it up shouldn't be too much of a problem. There are plenty of ways to play games like Scrabble online, but the voice chat and Xbox Live integration push this edition to the top of the heap.

Word Golf: Fairway Clash offers a unique mix of Scrabble and golf. It is casual enough to be enjoyable, and the soothing background music is a plus.

Overall, Scrabble is well polished and offers a good challenge for players of all levels. The online play is great if you can find people to play against. If not, the AI players will give you a good run for your money. The price tag is a reasonable $15 and is worth picking up if you're a fan of the game.

I was going to pick this up then found out you can't play against the computer, and it's pointless playing with people in the room because they can see your tiles. I ended up forking over the money for the DS version instead.
