Mark O'Connell, community manager for Sega, revealed today that the team are working on another patch for Empire: Total War. The fixes planned for this patch contain crash to desktop preventions, general sound balancing improvements, saving or loading issues and more.

it occoured after I changed from full hd til 1024 * 768
lol now the text looks chineese, however I found out how to fix it, you schould simply just play a battle or go to the windows desktop and return, then you are good for a couple of rounds, stupid eh?
