TechRadar says: Is graphics specialist Nvidia in mortal danger? That's a question we've been increasingly pondering in recent months.
The case for the prosecution goes something like this. Pretty much every part of Nvidia's business is either under immense pressure or at risk of evaporating altogether. Take the company's PC chipsets. With Core i7 Intel has started to shift towards producing processors with more and more features integrated into the CPU itself.
Here's why Nvidia could be battling for its very survival...

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
I always preferred ATi. What about you guys? I have an NVidia card on my laptop but my gaming PC carries ATi.
But I hope Nvidia's GP-GPU goes some where, my GTX 280 is a monster when it comes to General Processing. It encodes videos 100x faster then my 3.9GHZ E8400.
Hmmm, Could just be me but i always see Nvidia with Intel and Ati with AMD. If the story is correct though i could see a buyout or merger with the two (nvidia + intel) Also, The Geforce Mobos are pretty good too.
Because they have the best drivers, ALL games run best on nVidia cards, and every year they present something new like CUDA, hardware physx, 3d gaming etc. and so my money is on them.
And with my 3-way SLI (3x285GTX) i ate both Crysis games for breakfast something you can't do with ati.
