Games like the Resistance series and Metal Gear Solid 4 are games that appeal to many gamers in North America and have been given great reviews from most critics. However, there are a few other PS3 exclusives that just haven't received the attention or ratings that they deserved. After much thought, TNG has picked the most underappreciated Playstation 3 exclusive so far."

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

Why did Sony push Shuhei Yoshida out of his role leading PlayStation's first-party games? He'd overseen some huge successes. Well, apparently, he didn't listen.
Yeah I can see that for sure. Shuhei Yoshida should have been in charge not Jim Ryan.
More confirmation that Jim Ryan is the culprit for what has happened to Sony. Hulst needs to go too. What sucks is that a lot of the good top heads at Sony are no longer there. I wish that guys that were forced out prematurely by Dumbo Jimbo like Shuhei and Layden came back.
Makes you wonder if MS even thought about hiring him after Phil and Sarah were leaving. He certainly couldn't make their situation any worse.
All the gamer/consumer lead heads are gone across PS and Xbox. shuhei gone phil's gone (questionable) but gone. The future of gaming is somewhat uncertain across the board.
Folklore is really a grea-- *Looks at the picture* O_O..O_<
Aaanyway. Folklore is a great game, probably one of the only games that I would truly buy all of the DLC for it next paycheck. The music is great, I like the characters, and the story has thrown me into a loop thus far (haven't beaten it yet and choose to only play at night). I'd say the main thing that I liked the most from Folklore is that it wasn't battle driven like a few other games, but rather it is both investigative as well as a small dose of battling.
Motorstorm:Pacific Rift
Folklore is indeed great. I have unlocked most of the additional costumes and upgraded most of my Folks.
How about SOCOM, just in general? I'm not saying Confrontation is a great game or even a good game, it still has it's issues months later. But when you're the #1 SCEA online title, even announced as so on the SOCOM blog by the SCEA, and the game was received as garbage by the media, that speaks volumes to the fanbase they have there.
Instead of treating it like it doesn't exist, the franchise deserves a good dev team and a proper budget on par of their other heavy hitters. Because lets face it, if SOCOM isn't a PS exclusive, Playstation online would be years behind because the whole movement would of been a joke on the PS2. SOCOM and Zipper single handly made PS2 online work, because outside of SOCOM what PS2 games really pushed online play? None that I can think of. Some had online play but nothing was ever structured or stood out as needing to be played online.
Folklore and Valkyria Chronicles are both great games that not enough people have played. Folklore starts out slow, so it takes people that can stick with a game a little while before they become interested in all that can be done; the story gets better the further you go in too. Valkyria has a mixed style of gameplay, so it takes people with an open mind; once you get used to it though it is a great game with a JRPG grade story.
