
LightBox Interactive announced a deal with Sony today that allows them to create exclusive software titles for PlayStation platforms.

Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

Now that he is a second party developer, he can make any game he wants with out pressure from sony. Sony is still getting exclusives from them, but now they dont have much of a say when it comes to game development <<<< advantages of becoming a second party dev.
Unless its Warhawk 2 of course, since sony owns that IP. But I wonder what happens to Incognito now...
Dang, Sony definantly has a nice handful of studios with Exclusive game deals... Eat Sleep Play, Media Molecule, LightBox Interactive, and probably a few other studios I'm forgetting to mention.
LightBox Studios, another 2nd party developer to add to the ever growing list of Playstation developers. Just gotta love it!
With so many games now-a-days multiplatform, Exclusive 1st party and 2nd party games will definantly play a larger role than they have in the past.
