"Capcom has been hounded over the possibility of Lost Planet 2 for PS3 ever since it announced the game for 360 only back in February.
Despite rumours, the publisher/developer has refused to completely rule out the possibility of a PS3 version. But Capcom producer Jun Takeuchi has recently admitted that other version of the game could be on the cards.
When asked, once again, about a PS3 version Takeuchi replied: "We are currently investigating other platforms."
There's currently no release date for the 360 version, but the debut trailer above looks so nice we certainly hope it's out this year."

If you've come looking for great games, you are in the right place. Here are the best Co-Op Games you can play on the PS3
The load times in retrospect are unbearable but I did have hella fun playing couch co-op with my gf on the PS3 and PS2.
Resistance 2 co-op was amazing! I wish they would remaster resistance 1-3 and killzone 1-3 for the PS5.
Let me save you the time to scroll down no Warhawk or Starhawk, 2 of the best co-op games on PS3

Capcom has sent another notice to prospective buyers that Lost Planet 2 has been delisted due to the pox on all of humanity: Games For Windows Live.

another timed exclusive with "bonus" features. I own both systems, but of course I'll play it on XBOX if its not available on my ps3 at the sametime.
hopefully its simultaneous. Hell, if I have to wait for FFXIII to be finished on 360 before it gets released on PS3....why can't capcom do the same?
Just announce the damn game already for both platforms.
or don't be surprised when the PS3 version doesn't sell as well as hoped because you didn't put the effort in up front.
I liked the first Lost Planet when I had a 360. I do hope Lost Planet 2 does come to the ps3 without the huge install requirement.
So this means that Capcom has doubts on a possible release of Lost Planet 2 on the PS3. I guess they don't know how many copies of RE5 they sold for the PS3(especially in Japan). I thought releasing their games on as many platforms as possible, was part of their business plans. I guess they didn't had any doubts about DMC4 going multi-platform.
Whatever happened to "Year of the multiplatform"? Seems whenever a PS3 game comes and goes to 360 they're always touting this sentiment and then they magically forget about it when it comes to exclusives for 360(LP2) and Wii(Monster Hunter 3).
Capcom is crap in my eyes. I hate companies that backpedal and have no credibility in their word. I mean man up and stick to your word or if you have no intentions of doing what you say, just DON'T SAY IT. Seriously...
"There's currently no release date for the 360 version, but the debut trailer above looks so nice we certainly hope it's out this year."
Lost Planet 2 has already been confirmed for 2010, so it's not coming out this year.
Unless M$ paid to have it exclusive, I think the Lost Planet 2 situation will play out just like Lost Planet 1 did... it'll come out on the 360 first and hit the PS3 at a later date.
I mean, if Dead Rising 2 is now multiplatform (a former Xbox exclusive franchise), I have a pretty good feeling that Lost Planet 2 will be as well.
