I think the most logical reason is that if they wouldn't allow the size of games like SF II Turbo and The Watchmen, the games would become exclusives to their main competitor.

the graphics are DOWNGRADED,AA is worse

if you go to the airport, notice how BLURRY the ground looks and in some places it even looks worse than gta 4 on ps3

I don't know???

anyone noticed that?

off topic, gta 4 on 360 looks much better than ps3,runs much better, sharp, deatailed, crsiper graphics, much better AA,believe me,it helps the experience, you know that im not a fanboy but this is the truth guys,R* done a very bad job with ps3 version,ps3 version is so blur, fuzzy, has massive slowdown issues, when you speed up,it's almost like lair

before you agree or disagree, keep in mind that I say the truth and I wish gta 5 to be ps3 exclusive cause of blu-ray\cell :)

MURKERR6278d ago (Edited 6278d ago )

ive never noticed any slowdown, but if there is and if the graphics arent as good considering R* were new to the ps3s architecture but had already had experience with the 360 (table tennis anyone?) i think they did an adequate job.

now R* have experience with the ps3 i do agree gta 5 would benefit tremedously from the cell and bluray

size does matter.. especially if you are limited to DVD or if the internal HDD is not simple to upgrade :)

i have a ps3 (but did have a xbox360 before). I will play a multiplat and will always make xbox comparisons.. 'this is xbox quality!' or 'this is nearly xbox quality'. and i have a habit of saying 'wtf?!' at any technical glitches. (all in a non-serious way of course)

i think this is subconscious mechanism to make sure i never suffer from fanboyism. My worst fear is me saying that I am not fanboy when my thoughts and actions might indicate otherwise to the objective observer.

oddly, when i watch action sequencies in movies, I will say 'that was ps3 quality'.

coincidental? i think not!

what about DVD and DUD?

the difference is U.

Microsoft Xbox 3606278d ago

“We have set Xbox Live Arcade game file limits as a general guideline. An important part of Xbox Live Arcade is easy access”

translated:

“We don’t want them to be PSN exclusive”

So true.

Bucky Sligo6278d ago

Some countries around the world have expensive bandwidth hence the "easy access". I still don't think the size should be limited though.

come on sega - give us SHENMUE on the arcade...

This article just wants to have a go at Microsoft. It uses Yaris as an example, because it's a really bad game, but they neglect to mention that it does NOT break even the 50Mb early limit on XBLA games (So it's irrelevant right away), nor the fact that it was a FREE download.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
